Alls these yrs I’ve worked with you and followed you man and here you are still dropping dimes of knowledge. I have thought forever I was suppose to get the bottom of the club to skim the top of the tee. You just showed that the top of the tee is actually hitting the Clubs Face about 1/2” up on the face or more to 3/4”. That’s a massive difference in my brain.

If you were hitting too much on the bottom of the face, this makes sense! great feedback Patrick, thanks!

The last long drive competition in Tennessee really highlighted what you are talking about in this video. Jack Smith had a swing like he was carving a 3 wood down a tight par 4 with effortless ease. As soon as he got ahead of Borgmeier and Berkshire you could see their strain level go to a 100 and they couldn't find the grid with a road map. You knew as soon as they started their backswing they had no chance of beating him.

Finally I "gave up control" !! unfortunately it was during club championship and everything was 15-20 yards longer.. but what a feeling as the club releases. Drove a green at 270 than made 10ft eagle putt. I can get used to this. Thanks Shawn, Sav and Mu.

You certainly have optimized your swing and you are getting the most out of your swing without a doubt. However I am hitting a draw and if I get my driver that far forward I hit those snap hooks because presumably the club is already turning the corner. I would be curious to see if you yourself wanted to hit a draw which didn't overdraw the target line does anything in your setup change?
@golflessons
@golflessons Жыл бұрын
I am aiming left of the mat right now playing a fade which makes the ball appear to be more forward than it is. 1-chose the line of flight 2-chose an intermediate point to take your set up that way 3-When you let momentum deliver the tip of tee that way, will you feel the need to lunge forward (if too far forward) or reach back (if too far back) OR CAN YOU SIMPLY LET THE SWING FLOW THAT WAY? Ball position is a prediction based on a task to a flight plan! See “predict perfect contact and direction shawn clement” and “how to pu the ball in the way of your swing shawn clement” and the “ball position bible shawn clement”

Shawn, This is great stuff! I have been working on your methodology for about a month now. The biggest inconsistency I find is with my driver. I seem to push the ball right or snap hook left. Feel like my setup is not quite right and am experimenting with stronger and weaker grip and closed or more open club face to find solutions but definitely hitting the ball further. Not your distances yet but further for sure!

I just turned 58, still carrying about 300, 330 plus with the roll out. I'm a gym rat, still as strong as ever, and that helps. Ball speed in the mid 170's, still training to get that up.

There's still hope for me since I'm same age!? Play hockey at a decent level but can't seem to translate shooting motion to enhance golf strike. Hitting 300yds is incredible.

Thanks Kevin! Most golfers don’t realize that their hockey sticks have a hidden secret compared to a golf club; A CURVED BLADE so you can collect the puck from beside or behind you and release the puck with the hands way in front at the start. So to get the same “collect and release” effect in golf, CLOSE THE FACE OF THE CLUB TO START!! See “most important video on grip ever shawn clement” and when you are ready, get on my premium channel at www.wisdomingolfpremium.com and the first month is on me with coupon code WISDOM10 at check out; See “important grip update” and the first video in the “consistency series” and then go to the “release” videos, then to the “throwing series” and then the “target confirmation series” Then you can polish power with the “kinetic chain facilitation and engagement series”

So impressive. I’m the same age and carry the ball 225 or so. I’d do almost anything to get that up to 260
@golflessons

You should try and get on our premium channel at www.wisdomingolfpremium.com and start with the “senior series” and then head to all the “release” videos, especially the “lead hand release”, “lead hand release backswing assurances”, which will open up the backswing to get the maximum gather and keep you close to that lead foot to engage the kinetic chain! Then it’s “the throwing series”, then the “predict contact and the goldie locks series” to understand how the ball gets in the way of the THROWING SNAP and finally the “target confirmation series” and “stick your finish despite the ball series” comment sections for questions all along the way!

Same set up for irons? Club behind ball 3 or 4 inches?
@golflessons
@golflessons Жыл бұрын
not necessarily! the ball is more centred for the irons because you want to catch the ball first and then the divot after! See “grass whip training shawn clement” and “flush your irons shawn clement”

Probably the longest drives ever recorded at 160mph ball speed. Honestly I’m not an expert but I highly doubt you can physically get a ball 296 yards carry with that ball speed. 296 yards total including 20 yards of roll yes of course. If indeed these balls carried 296 yards you have to be studied by a team experts because it’s a monumental achievement, of your GC quad has to be calibrated😅. If it was backed up by a radar device like a trackman or fkightscope I’d be less skeptical. Anyways this swing is clearly optimised .
@golflessons
@golflessons Жыл бұрын
Between the trackman and the GC Quad, if you ask the guys on tour, they will all gravitate towards the foresight product for fine tuning the swing they will need to make a living with; much more realistic. Same here, I find that on every golf course, my drives are properly represented with this product; and it is at the factory default at 68 degrees and 300 feet elevation.
@louisolivierfortin
@louisolivierfortin Жыл бұрын
@@golflessons I know it’s a great product. I’ve been watching golf tips videos for 10-15 years now and never ever seen a 160 ball speed produce a 300 yards carry. I guess it’s possible now so we can have hope.

There are so many things you can do to naturally boost speed and power! 1-fully releasing 2-full range of motion with no resistance (big turn with back and butt to target, left knee in behind the ball and left heel up in the backswing to fully gather momentum) 3-when the kinetic chain engages from a target bound action focus, the legs engage and turbo charge the swing of the arms and the snap in the release. all of this on our premium channel at wisdom in golf premium .com
