That’s THE guitar for Shawn, isn’t it? You can see all the learning, discovering, growing, inspiration, joy, and solace etched into the soundboard. (No sadness there because the job of the guitar is to transform sorrow into the those states of being.) Since then, she’s gotten her signature Martin, and custom Collings. But I’ll bet if she could only take one guitar on a desert island (or apparently a tropical island full of honeymooners) it would be that D-28.
