Alexander Springs Snorkeling

Alexander Springs Recreation Area is a great place to enjoy the great outdoors. Alexander is a first magnitude spring with plenty of clear water and aquatic life to check out. The spring vent is about 25 feet deep, but the swimming area is very large with lots of great places to snorkel in shallow waters as well. Hope you enjoy a virtual visit! I hear there is a spring in Florida that been invaded by a fish I got in my tank called the pleco or armored cat. Id like to go see them.

@@salaseivastajat thanks. Yeah I hear they want them gone. I know I want the one in my tank gone. I took it in because a guy was going to throw it in the Mississippi river. It wasn't very big when I got it and I have a bristle nose and they were the same size at first. Now 9 months later its 9 inches long and my tank is a mess all the time because it makes so much slime. I got a small fishing net and a cooler set up with and ready to go today to get it out and a new home. Cant wait

They are invasive throughout Florida... lots of people let them go and unfortunately now they are very well established. Thanks for watching!
