Awe,.you should have done the official video. It's awesome watching him play. Every song he has released is like a beautiful aura that just envelopes you. You wind up closing your eyes and sitting back to take it in deeply. Such a fine feeling his music gives you. I love to play his music while sitting in front of my window during the rain. Right about dusk. Do I need to mention with a mug of hot chocolate?

Bruce Hornsby is probably my all time favorite person in Rock and Roll. He is not only a great performer, Pianist, Accordianist, Singer, Songwriter, but he is just an outstanding human being. I have seen him in concert with both his band, The Range, and as an opener for the Grateful Dead, but also as a touring member of The Dead. He is from Williamsburg, Va., and attended the local college William and Mary, and then started recording music. At least two other song from Bruce you will enjoy, "The Way It is" and "The Valley Road". There are more, but that is a start.

The entire album is amazing. Brings me right back to high school. And the music is still as good

Jerry Garcia, of the Grateful Dead, after Pig Pen the original keyboards, for the Dead, passed away...the dead needed a pianist/Keyboardist, to join the live tours, during early, to mid 90s. He chose, Bruce Hornsby... Nuff said

Yea man, gotta love Bruce Hornsby. The song The Way It Is, is a great song by him, peace. Edit: Bruce also played keyboards on about 100 dates for The Dead in the early 1990.

Bruce, his brother and another band member wrote this song as well as playing the piano and singing it! Such a talented man!! When you're ready to do "The Way It Is" please select the official audio version so you can see his piano skills in action! He has a different method of playing and it looks like he's picking the notes out using single fingers.

Great reaction, thank you!😊♥ So glad you enjoyed this. I was thirteen in 1986, and this song is quintessential mid-80's to me😊Brings back so many memories. Bruce Hornsby was a touring member of the Grateful Dead from 1990-1992, and has worked with lots of other artists you have reacted to (including Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Crosby Stills and Nash, Stevie Nicks...) as well as bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs.

If you react to "The Way It Is", you will recognize it if you are from the Tupac era. You will know where Tupac got it from cause Bruce did it first.

Very underrated artist and a fantastic piano player. Check out "End of the Innocence/Song A/Sun bear theme". It is like a piano anthem.

Another great song! -- You should react to some more Sinead O’Connor btw: Troy, Fire On Babylon, Empire (with Benjamin Zephaniah) , Last Day Of Our Acquaintance… so many great songs. Also, has anyone recommended any Mike Patton?? Incredible voice. :)

Great artist that gets overlooked. Most prefer Elton John or Billy Joel on the piano. He may not have as many hits as Elton or Billy, but he plays just as well, if not better. The Greatest Hits probably contains all of his best tracks. Can't go wrong with Bruce!
