Great song! Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer songwriter from the 80's-90's. He is known for his ballads & he has a unique raspy voice. Bryan has had so many hits such as "Everything I Do", "Cuts Like A Knife", "Straight From The Heart", "Run To You", "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?", "Heaven", "Can't Stop This Thing We Started", "Thought I'd Died & Gone To Heaven", "Please Forgive Me", "All For Love" etc. He has won a lot of awards for his music.

Many of his songs have been covered, a testament to his song writing ability.

It’s actually too bad that he is “known for his ballads,” as I think he’s a true rocker. I was at his MTV Unplugged recording in NYC and he rocked that place! ❤

Bryan Adams was a mainstay on the top 10 all throughout the 80s and early 90s. I believe he was in the top 5 for biggest sellers in the 80s.

Came back from the war in 1969 and bounced around all the music clubs in San Francisco, always living hard and drinking memories. Had a great time, hitchhiked to Washington State, and Oregon and across the country to Florida (my home state). It was different times and a different vibe. I loved it.

According to recent interviews, this song wasn’t about the, ahem, year ‘69. ✌️❤️🎶

A ton of great hits from this man. Bryan Adams, also live, is a fabulous performer also. Born in Kingston, Ontario in 1959 so proud to be fellow Canadian fan for years...🎤🎶🇨🇦

Yes one of those rare performers whose live sets are as good as the studio versions.

Bryan Adams played this song as an encore for his Reckless tour in 1985! We had 3rd row center for a sellout show! Nearly all of his albums Cuts Like A Knife and Reckless were really good!

i met his manager in ibiza when 'everything i do, i do it for you' was number one & he & his wife & mine, spent the rest of the holiday together! what attracted us to each other was that we both had long hair! i was a metal/rock dj at the time!!!

Bryan was 10 years old in 1969 and freely admits this song wasn't about a year....

A Canadian band that is probably not too well known in the US is Blue Rodeo. If you do a reaction to them I would suggest a song called Try.

I second that suggestion...love Blue Rodeo! He's reacted to one of their songs so far ("5 Days in May").

I'd love for Shawn to check out some other great Canadian bands like Platinum Blonde - "Not in Love" and the Ian Thomas Band - "Painted Ladies".

Great fun tune that is more about a’position’ rather than a particular year!😀

Always liked BA. He would never allow any show he performed on to "Can" his music. In otherwords, if he couldn't play it live, he'd refuse to appear on whatever show it was. I greatly respect that about him.

Apparently they do more in Canada than just play hockey and produce great comedy stars like Martin Short, etc.😉

I would have liked a full movie of this music video. Lysette Anthony was one of the most beautiful actresses of the 80’s 😃
