This trap works. I tested it myself before but if there are foxes or other larger animals around then they will lick off the peanut butter. We found an even easier and more effective method. Just smear some peanut butter on the inside of a bucket and then fill the bucket with enough water so mice and rats cant touch the bottom. Then put another bucket upside down next to the trap bucket and put a little ramp on it. All mice and rats will jump in the trap bucket and drown if the distance between the buckets is not too far or close.1-2 inches works well. We killed all the rats on our property this way....they all drowned in the bucket and they deserved it because they killed our Quails.

I get mice in the surround around my large bath tub. My most successful trap ia a live catch rectangular metal one with a clear window in the top which opens as a door. I have caught 3 mice together at once.. I then dispose of them in a bucket of warm water. Make sure the water covers the entire trap. Seems the most humane to me. ( I use to use the plastic kill traps that weren't killing them right away. I could hear them dragging the trap that they were caught in. Seemed inhumane to me.) I empty the trap in my back yard & the dead mice disappear during the night.

Fun fact mice will send out the dumbest youngest mouse to go test the food...long story short they know what poison is and are more intelligent than what we like to believe.

I wasn't having much luck with snap traps in my shed so I figured why not give this a try. It caught one mouse overnight.

Although it was a bit unsatisfying, I loved the footage of the rat mom rescuing her babies. ❤️ An alternative to adding water might be using a higher bucket?

were those wild mice all eating together???? i didn't expect them to be so united, is there usually more than 1 mouse in a room in a house with multiple mice? would they try and take 1 room each or share?

Could it be that using a see-through bucket made the mice less hesitant let themselves fall inside?

We live next to a dumpster and not too far from fields. I have been using snap traps but every time we get one it jolts me awake lol. I may have to try this!

That skunk DID look rather thin... Poor thing kept coming back for more! Hopefully, it'll get nice and fat, from the mice Shawn puts out!

could you place them around the yard or do you think bigger animals would ruin them? or would the birds eat the peanut butter? or would you have to deploy them every night and take in during the day
