All i know is brian shaw has been one of my favorite people on earth. Hes my favorite strongman of all time by a mile (i started watching strongman during mariusz time and have been between a casual and serious fan since ive started watching, but i became a serious fan just because i was a brian shaw fan first and strongman fan second lol). Im a serious armwrestling fan and i started watching during the early part of the pandemic. LOL the point im making in stating that fact is that I'm such a hardcore, die hard brian shaw fan that even though im a hardcore armwrestling fan. Brian almost immediately became my favorite armwrestler as soon as he started pulling!!😂😂😂😂. At first i had serious doubts in the back of my mind about Brian's ability to get to the level hes ultimately aiming for (elite). Armwrestling is so specialized that most people (and i mean even most special people who were champions in another sport) arent able to cross over and see success at a high level. Anyways, suffice it to say being a huge shaw fan i repressed my doubts and just hoped i was wrong. Then he pulled out a win in a long hard war with eddie whos the type given his physicality and short stockiness. To level up and see gains much quicker off the start than a guy like brian who needs longer to gain that body mind synergy etc due to his extremely long levers and height. After the match im now 100% sold on the brian shaw hype. He showed insane stamina and he was literally like a constantly closing hydraulic press. He just remained rock strong from start too finish which is essential for super match pulling. He stayed fully focused. He didn't waiver at all. He had the most pressure he'll ever have on him and showed 0 wilting. He literally has everything on the mental side , he has everything in the heart aspect and he obviously won the genetic lottery with his length, levers, overall strength and horsepower. Extreme stamina. The only thing holding him back are proper fundamentals and technique which only come with practice in time and hes committed fully. Hes going to be an absolute savage hulk smashing monster in 2 to 3 years. Im so fckng excited.
