The most BEAUTIFUL couple EVER! Sonny had selfish reasons for doing what he did. But he also was scared of what could happen to Brenda he didn't want her to end up like L**L**. So, I understand his decision. What he should have done was include Brenda and let her make the decision to stay with him or let him go. This way she wouldn't have a break down thinking Sonny never loved her and just played with her head. I don't care how much J** was there he could NEVER fill that hole Sonny left in her heart. Sonny was DEAD A** wrong but he did it for the right reasons in his heart and head. I can't fault him for that. #SonnyandBrenda4LIFE

Brenda straight up lied to hurt Sonny. In 2010 Sonny goes to see her, when he got divorced. Brenda gets pissed off and emotional, telling Sonny he left her at the altar, because u wanted to save me. And she said straight up IF he gave her a choice in 1997, she would have given up her ENTIRE LIFE for him, and in her eyes they have a great life together. Maybe the writers changed it, but she said Sonny SHOULD have given her a option to choose for herself.! And she would have left PC

Sonny and Brenda should’ve worked something out on getting back together because the love was still there and they could’ve tried again back then to write a wrong by getting married.

Definitely should have tried again! Sonny didn't even want to let her go. He cold have seen how she looked pregnant.

Remembering this episode, I never understood putting her back with Sonny. They were so toxic, but TPTB love to glorify that toxicity. Jax always put her on equal footing where Sonny always demanded the relationship be by his rules.

They weren't toxic. That's a lie. They were humans. Carly and Sonny were extremely toxic but TPTB kept them together and that was always odd to me. They ruined their best love story by ruining Sonny and Brenda.

I never saw Sonny and Carly as great loves, pretty much the opposite on that relationship as a settlement on one being invested but not truly in love with one another.

Brenda and Jax should've lived happily ever after splitting their time between the cottage and Rome. But I guess Jax wasn't perfect either.

stregadisalem - NEVER. Jax and Brenda can not compare to Sonny and Brenda. He was another stalker 2.0 like Lily. He did the same thing to Brenda in 2003 and left her at the altar. Sonny & Brenda have to be ENDGAME.
