MashAllah. These issues are finally being addressed . We cannot bury our heads in the sand . As a community we need to deal with these matters .we should not be making ourselves a target for others . I have really enjoyed the last few videos where at least we can start having a conversation about these issues .

It’s so refreshing to finally see an Imam call out the prevalent heresies and deviant practices in our communities that go against the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (may Allah bless him). Sadly those criticising and attacking the Shaikh are doing it solely out of emotions; devoid of any ilm and understanding of the Deen. Why did out Prophet warn against Bidah so severely on a regular basis throughout his life? Why did our Prophet advise us to hold firmly onto his Sunnah? Instead sadly many of us have left the Sunnah of our Prophet and instead blindly follow the practices of their elders or Peers which oppose the Sunnah, and which often have their roots and origins in Hindu practices.

Asalamu alaykum. This is a very beneficial talk. Could you potentially do a video on the correct method of ziyarah of the graves of saints like Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (r.a) and istigatha (both at the grave and away from the grave)? There are many people who transgress the limits and it would be something that benefits the community.

The shaykh is saying basically you can do it on the 40th no problem but don't think of it as a necessity this can be done on any day. Nowadays people feel pressure that they have to call everyone on day 40 whereas this has no base in our religion.

Not everyone is the same some people are blessed with wealth from Allah swt along with Deen they spend thousands on food because Allah swt has blessed them to do so they feed the people as this is a blessing also with minimal waste khatam agreed certain days issue but let them pick the days serving the community is a blessing from Allah swt and he picks those he wants to do the work Alhamdulliah... with the loss of life sorrow in the community at large and current circumstances the people need love ,peace and tranquility... not a bashing from the Ulema on a daily basis... becoming a bit of a culture now... no wonder then hearts turn to the Awlia rather than the Ulema...

@@sandstorm1667 If Bidah Hasanah (good innovation) was such a bad thing, then the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would never have said: "Whoever initiates a good practice in Islam and then acted upon it, he will be entitled to reward similar to that of those who followed it, and the reward of the latter will not be affected in any way. And whoever initiates a bad practice in Islam and then acted upon it, he will be entitled to loss similar to that of those who followed it, and the loss of the latter will not be affected in any way" Sahih Muslim, Book 034, Number 6466 Imam Shafi'i defined Bid'ah as: الْبِدْعَةُ بِدْعَتَانِ: بِدْعَةُ مَحْمُودَةٌ وَبِدْعَةُ مَذْمُومَةٍ، فَمَا وَافَقَ السُّنَّةَ فَهُوَ مَحْمُودٌ وَمَا خَالَفَ السُّنَّةَ فَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ. Bid'ah is two bid'ahs: praiseworthy bid'ah and blameworthy bid'ah. Thus, whatever agrees with the Sunnah, it is praiseworthy and whatever conflicts with the Sunnah, it is blameworthy. As regard to what is claimed as innovated after the death of the Prophet (ﷺ), in fact, not every innovated act is legally prohibited. However, what is prohibited is the innovation disagrees with the established Sunnah or abolishes a legal command despite the existence of its underlying cause. Innovation, on the contrary, might have been obligated in some cases when the underlying cases changed. - Ihya Ulum al-Deen, Vol. 2, page 3 Ibn Kathir said in explanation of the verse (2:117): والبدعة على قسمين تارة تكون بدعة شرعية كقوله فإن كل محدثة بدعة وكل بدعة ضلالة وتارة تكون بدعة لغوية كقول أمير المؤمنين عمر بن الخطاب عن جمعه إياهم على صلاة التراويح واستمرارهم نعمت البدعة هذه تفسير ابن كثير | ٣٩٨/١ And bid’ah is of two types. Sometimes it is a bid’ah shar’iyyah (with its Shariah meaning), such as his saying, ‘For every newly-invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is misguidance …’ and sometimes it is a bid’ah lughawiyyah (with its linguistic meaning), such as the saying of Amir Al-Mu’minin Umar ibn al-Khattab regarding his uniting them together for the Tarawih prayer and making them maintain this practice, ‘What an excellent innovation this is …’ - Tafsir Ibn Kathir | 398/1

Maybe the accusations being levelled should be turned around and thrown at the Imams. Maybe if you stopped teaching out of a book and instead taught from an experience, the ummah may not be in the state it is in. A return to the heart will yield results as we see who we truly are

The Imams? We have a brain. We need to use it once in a while. Common sense prevails. As for the 'book'. Which book are you referring to? The Quran has Allah's swt words. Do not follow Islam blindly though. Tie your camel too. The brother is saying 'follow sunnah'. He is right. We need to GO BACK to Quran and sunnah and RECLAIM the Khatam. Khatam is KHATAM AL QURAN.....meaning...people gather to COMPLETE the Quran.
