as salamu alaikum Sheik Yasir thank you for hosting this good brother I am an African American indigenous muslim revert from Philadelphia. I took shahadah mid-seventies made Hajj in November '77 where I was blessed to be sitting on the plane next to Sheik Ahmad Sakr not knowing who he was I knew only a few short Suras and not much more. He took me to the back of the compartment &showed me how to perform the salat what I'm leading up to saying is the importance of these learned brothers the impact that they have had on our learning. May Allah continue to reward them to speak &teach the reality of Islam. Ameen

So much praise and recognition!!! Didn't Allah tells us twice in Quran to not praise ourselves( لا تزكوا انفسكم)..Allah knows best who is rightly guided. I find this is a constant among acheivers, especially Arab muslims. As we know from seerah our prophet advised throwing dust in the face of flatterers. Can anyone help me out in this.

Dear sister. This is not flattery of oneself, but a retrospective of the activism and work of our scholars - and of sometimes reflection on the “good old days” that we are all subject to. Our youth should know of this history and brotherhood.

@@mohamedkhadim3625 Brother,, It's just hard for us Americans to watch because it really is not in our culture. Only poiticians and academics have adopted that mode. That said, we have to appreciate and respect other cultures but I learned that prophet Muhammad came with Tawheed which brings people together as cultures usually set them apart.

Did you think Allah is not aware of my condition? He is well aware. He is aware of mine, as He is aware of yours, and I promise you that on the day of judgement, you will be least of all concerned by me, and more so by yourself, so go on and use this spare time to improve and better yourself. It’s important that we surround ourselves with righteous people during these times … the religion has grown strange among the people and the one who practices it as best he can is looked at as an “extremist” even by his fellow Muslims. He knows what is in you’re heart Before it enters you’re heart He knows you’re intentions even if it’s you’re “imagination” He knows what comes and goes What’s to come And what’s to leave you alone But you don’t know He loves you so much But do you love him? Do you confront you’re self with his words Or the false words others tell? Remember Allah Fear Allah Love Allah

Salaamun alaykum, Sheikh Yasir Qadhi. Twice my comments were deleted. You came to our city, thus we have a great respect for you. Yet I had no idea that you were surrounded by this big sinkhole where you can't visualize Muslims as victorious and bring peace and serenity which the world has never witnessed before! It is very sad, extremely sad news for Ummah, that you will drown along with all the Muslim ummah who lost hope.
@asma.nooruddin
@asma.nooruddin 2 жыл бұрын
Here is my comment which got deleted twice earlier from your side intentionally or unintentionally. Salaamun alaykum. Alhamdulillah for meeting one of the pioneers of our legacy in America. The names have been mentioned here; lots of them were intimate friends of my late father-in-law. And just imagine what will happen when the Quran is understood properly? All these challenges the Muslim world is facing today, were faced in the history also. The only proven way to solve all these challenges is to go back to the Scripture in its pure form, how Prophet Sulayman went back to the Scripture and was called a Muhtadee. Al-Mahdi, the guided one, can never be known until after death. But all of us can be a muhtadee who goes back to the pure Scripture, called Al-Quran. There is no other way left for us than to go back to the soundproof source of Millat Ibrahim which has been provided by Allah inside His Quran. And when we practice only from the proofs of the Quran by using Millat Ibrahim, no one will be able to stand in front of the Muhtadees, it is Allah’s promise in every page of the Quran. We can't afford to follow the losers anymore, can we?
@asma.nooruddin
@asma.nooruddin 2 жыл бұрын
Salaamun alaykum, Sheikh Yasir Qadhi. This is a great educational interview you have done, from where Muslim Ummah especially who live in the Northern American continent will learn for years to come. To win the game we have to be a winner from inside and out. A tiny mouse even can save the king of the jungle, the lion. You see, at 1:03:25 when the respectable Sheikh Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan asked you this important question about Muslim Ummah’s future, at 1:04:00 the answer came out from your mouth is just shocking for the Ummah. Whatever education you have received so far has taught you to write your and the Ummah’s address in the losers' basket, no hope is left to exercise your decades of teachings then for sure. Among the lessons Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan has given us a very beneficial lesson at 34:44 is that even a giant could be illiterate. When we humbly accept that we open the room to learn the truth. Your answer at 1:04:00 shows that you have zero knowledge of the Quranic text and its message. As you know the Arabic language very well already, so as an audience I will invite you to learn from the Quran directly, using the lexicon of Millat Ibrahim which Allah has embedded inside the Quran in Zikr (the Quranic stories and parables). When you use the Qurayshi lexicon you give the answer of 1:04:00. But when you learn Millat Ibrahim your answer would be the opposite one, you will get energized just only to embrace the victory of Muslim Ummah in every aspect of life. It would be wise to be part of the victorious ones, won’t you agree? Let me give you a small sample of the difference between the usage of the Qurayshi lexicon and the Millat Ibrahim lexicon. According to the Qurayshi lexicon the traditional interpretation of the Quran translates 'rijal' as a man and 'nisa' as a woman. The traditionalists didn’t care to notice that Prophet Ibrahim called rijal to come to the hajj where men and women joined ever since, thus in the Quranic lexicon rijal means whoever walks including men and women, same goes with nisa which includes men and women. Allah has provided His wayfarers His own lexicon through Millat Ibrahim which is stored in Zikr, the Quranic stories and parables to understand the Quran properly. Let me give you the danger of following the Qurayshi lexicon for the last 1400 years as well. By interpreting through the Qurayshi lexicon, we put the Qurayshi lexicon as the intermediaries between Allah and us. Thus unorthodoxly we illegally brought concubines, slaves, dictatorship, male dominance and female to be sex objects in the name of God in Islam. Thus even when we were victorious in the past we demonstrated rotten apples in the Islamic history chapters; and the strongest enemies of Allah took the custodianship over our lives and as a byproduct your answer came out from your mouth like this. Whereas, when you learn Millat Ibrahim and interpret the Quran accordingly, then you will find that there is no room in Allah’s law to cater concubines, slaves, dictatorship, male dominance and using females as sex objects. You will interpret all the ‘rijal’ and ‘nisa’ ayat/signs of the Quran accordingly where they belong. And finally you will come out from the shackle you are in today. After unlearning what you have learned so far, you will appreciate to relearn that Allah’s opinion in the Quran is the highest opinion to guide us and make us victorious which will never diminish in the future human history. You will come to know that, "You alone do we seek on our journey, and you alone do we accept as a source (of knowledge or guidance)!" Surah Fatiha

The problem is you are saying you believe in truth and proofs. But have a narrow view of truth/proofs related to just hadiths which have uncertainty. Reason and the Quran is proof and access to truth.
