Can I ask in the case of a divorced father refusing to pay maintenance for his children does this mean listening to the case of diya that the extended family are liable too ?

💚💚 🤲 🕋 🤲💚💚 يارب قد ضاقت بنا الدنيا و أنت أعلم بما نحن فيه مناشدة عاجلة لأهل الخير في أرض الله أنا أخوكم بالله، شاب من غزة أبلغ من العمر ٣٧ عاما، غير متزوج ، أحمل شهادة جامعية ولكنني لا أعمل بسبب الظروف الصعبة التي يمر فيها قطاع غزة بكل أسف. نحمد الله على كل حال، ولكنني يا إخوتي أحتاج إلى المساعدة بشكل عاجل جدا. أنا غير متزوج بسبب الظروف الصعبة وبسبب فقر الحال. مسؤول عن عائلة بأكملها من بعد استشهاد والدي. انا مريض أيضا و أحتاج لإجراء عملية جراحية في عيني فأنا فقدت نظري كليا في عيني اليمين بسبب عدم مقدرتي على العلاج. في ظل هذه الظروف الصعبة و عدم مقدرتي العلاج لعيني و مسؤوليتي عن عائلتي بعد استشهاد والدي و عدم وجود عمل بسبب الظروف الصعبة ، فإننا يا إخوتي أقسم بالله لا نجد ما نأكله في كثير من الأحيان و كذلك يوجد عليا بعض الديون لبعض الأشخاص وأنا مهدد بالحبس ، ولولا الله ثم موضوع كورونا لكنت الآن داخل الحبس بسبب الديون المتراكمة عليا، ولكانت عائلتي الآن في الضياع بسبب الفقر والحاجة . أرجوكم يا إخوتي من يستطيع تقديم المساعدة لوجه الله تعالى ألا يتوانى عن تقديم المساعدة، ، الله أعلم بحالنا في بيتنا، حال والدتي و الأطفال.. الحمد لله على كل حال يقول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم( اتقي النار ولو بشق تمره ) وكذلك يقول صلى الله عليه وسلم( كان الله في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه ) من يريد تقديم المساعدة يا إخوتي يمكنه مراسلتي والتواصل معي عن طريق الواتس آب أسفل الرسالة وسوف أرسل له كافة الأوراق الثبوتية وصور شخصية وتقارير طبية لحاجتي للعلاج رقم الواتس آب الخاص بي/ 00970592587789 تقبلوا تحياتي اخوتي بالله والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته ..،

Shaykh, you say they're rewarded even for doing the harmful - please clarify, what about abusive toxic in-laws and the son who divorces his spouse due to pressure from his parents?

The shaykh said if the request of one's parents was unreasonable, like divorcing his wife, the son should not obey them.

@@SillyKoala Thank you for clarifying; I understood that bit, but towards the end he said if the child obeys even the unreasonable demands, they will be rewarded. Not trying to nitpick/argue, genuinely wondering. JazakAllah khayr.
