Assalamu alaikum warahamatullahi wabarakatuhu, I have some beneficial points to share. First, the fact that 3 of 10 Major signs are referring to the Three Earthquakes show how TREMENDOUS these will be. We could easily mention these Earthquakes in 5 seconds, but one has to remember that 30% of the 10 Major Signs are dedicated to these massive Earthquakes!! I mean, they are so massive and tremendous that it is not a single major sign "Three Earthquakes", but rather, that Three Earthquakes refer to three major signs! Allahu musta'aan!! Secondly, the hadith that refers to Daabba (Beast) coming at Duha time, and the rising of Sun from the West appear to indicate that these two major signs will happen within 24-48 hours, like Sh Yasir suggested. Like the Shaykh mentioned, when either one of them comes first, the other will come right after. Sh Yasir Qadhi did not mention it, but to me, this hadith also is proof that the Earth is round, which is a miracle because in those days not everyone believed the Earth is round. Therefore, it is plausible, that some people on the Earth will see the Sun change its course in mid-day while others will see the actual rising from the West, and hence which might be why Rasulullah salAllahu 'alayhi wasallam said that when *one* of these two signs appears the other will come right after. So for those people who witness Earth change its course in mid-day, maybe they will see the Beast first and Sun rise from the West the next day. And those who will see the Sun rise from the West first, they might see the Beast second. But on the other hand, like Sh Yasir alluded to near the end of the lecture, if no one else is alive on Earth by that time except in the Middle East, then it is possible that only people living near the Middle East will see the Sun rising from the West which is why it is not mentioned in any hadith that people will see the Sun change its course in mid-way. Lastly, regarding what the Trumpet is. There is a possible modern interpretation of this. Astronomers have made some predictions on possible shape of the Universe, and one such possibility is that of a "saddle shape", based on certain parameters on their mathematical model. It may be that the Trumpet is referring to the shape of the Universe itself. It makes sense that Israfeel 'alayhi assalam is blowing into our Universe. And Allah knows best! JazakAllah Khayran for Sh Yasir and all those involved. May Allah Most High bless all of them and us and allow us to learn the Deen, implement it, and spread it to others. Ameen.

The hadith doesn't say 3 earthquakes but rather it uses the term khasf.. Which is also used in the context of what happened to qawm lout in the dead sea.. Khasf is a landslide the kind that swallows a place and result in a sinkhole intead. It might be a result of what humans are doing and maybe not.. Actually in the book named a short history of nearly everything the author mentions studies done by geologists that predicts 2 major earth quakes and volcanoes that will wipe out Iowa and Tokyo for example. More mashayekh prefer to put salat Al dhuha from after shuruq sun rise by 20 minutes till before thuhr by 15 mins to make sure we avoid the time of karahah of praying.. There are times during the day which Salah is hated and disencouraged. One of them is fro. The time is sunrise u till it reaches the height of a spear that s in kodern measurements about 15 minutes after sunrise... IMO Yassir is wrong. The Jooz were dominant in the Khazar state of Ukraine. In fact, they were so powerful that they stopped the Muslim expansion at their borders. Again, the problem is not with the different interpretations. Of course there are things in the Quran the the scholars back than won’t know because the Quran also speak about things for the none believers and Muslims from revelations to the end of time. Therefore, there are signs in it for those who are scientists or doctors now for example. The issue was that you kept using “logic” and science to reject the interpretations of the past generation, witch can be true, and referred to them as tales and problematic. The only way their interpretations are problematic if you don’t believe that Allah is capable of doing anything outside the laws of science. I hope you can see and address this concern, we all make mistakes and that will solve the problem if you just say that I was wrong when I referred to the early scholars interpretations as impossible. It should be really easy if the goal is to please Allah SWT

It doesn't make sense that the 2nd of the two destructions of Surah Isra is about muslims. The ayah says that they will enter the masjid like the did the first time, and that they will destroy everything severly. Why would muslims conquer Jerusalem and then destroy the masjid and the entire city? Makes no sense. This is most likely talking about what happened in the past, the first time the babylonians and then the 2nd time the romans.

Yajuj Majuj, Sun rising from west, prophet’s marriage, etc. We believe that Allah is our creator and he sent revelations to the Rasulullah (SA) so anything after this should not be an issue for a muslim to believe. Indeed Allah can guide whomsoever He wishes..i will pray for you as well. May Allah swt make it easy for you. If you don't see progress in the coming years, then it's best to walk away because there can be no way out of this situation with a non- muslim :) Quran is a living miracle. Only if you have the right understanding and skills, you can inshAllah help him as well to gain his akhirah.
