I seriously love this so much! As a mom 7months postpartum I have been struggling with finding a balance, loving myself, and finding my identity again. Motherhood is a beautiful and amazing gift. And you’ll never truly understand until you experience it. But why should we be looked down on for wanting to get back to ourselves? Or get back to a body imagine we love or just even recognize?? You always hear “you should love your body and all it’s stretch marks and loose skin because that body created a baby” yes of course I love my body. I love it for what it DID! But do I have to settle for a body I don’t love looking at?? Settle for a body that I don’t recognize?? Your body did an amazing thing, but that doesn’t mean it can’t do more amazing things like getting back to yourself after a baby. I refuse to settle and I’m so happy you found a way to not settle as well!! You’re such an inspiration Shay. Thank you for this!
