@@gatorleia nono I gotcha. He feels more unfiltered outside of Smosh channels. It's also different seeing him and Court as a couple not as coworkers. It's like on the last Bepordy there was a joke Ian made trying to force them to call him attractive and Courtney went 'My husband is next to me!'. It felt very surprising because they don't acknowledge it much. Which I get it, being personality/entertainer and coworkers comes first in all smosh content but it's fun when they're not restricted by that. And although I do remember Shayne talking about his family and sibling situation he was always in control of a conversation, you know, has to be conscious when to move on during a podcast or a vid. This felt more like he was explaining thing to the guys and we were just overhearing it.

My dad was a marine for years, and a sergeant for the Bureau of Special Operations (basically SWAT with a few key differences) for 30 years before retiring. 24:28 same with my pawpaw. he never told us about his time in WWII but I knew where he went, had 3 bullets they never removed, & the purple heart he had in the cellar in the backyard. After he passed away my dad, his extended family, & me went to the cellar which is where he kept anything related to his service so it was never really brought up or anything. (He was in Saipan but got honorably discharged after his injuries.) Little context on the cellar, my granny & pawpaw built the house & cellar themselves but nobody ever went to the cellar much. The house is still lived in by my family on my mom's side as my dad's side has either passed or doesn't live in the city anymore.

I will say, he was a very sweet man but he did threaten to shoot my dad & his cousins in the foot if they ever thought about joining the military (the Vietnam War was still happening at the time)

If Schlatts on a video for smosh they HAVE to have Spencer in it with him, the chaotic energy would be too good

1:33:56 There actually is a flag for gay men as well! It’s a gradient of green, white and purple in contrast to the lesbian flag that’s a gradient of orange, white and pink. It’s referred to as the MLM flag.
