I've been a fan for almost three years now. I love all of your videos and you inspire me each and everyday. Shay I need some prayers, i believe if I have a lot of people praying then I can get a miracle. I just found out I am pregnant and I'm very early on, I was told by many doctors I won't ever be able to conceive bc I have endometriosis so that fact that I'm pregnant now is a gift from GOD. But the doctors have said my HGC levels were low and I'm high risk for a miscarriage. So I need prayers for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Anyone is welcome to pray for me. people are still butthurt over the cat situation.. guess what? cats originally lived outside. the only reason people take then inside is because some person decided that they wanted to bring it into their home and now people find it so horrible that others have outdoor cats. they're animals, they are made to fend for themselves. don't get so mad about something that effects you in no way shape or form.

Look I really love the Shaytards, I've been a viewer for a while, but honestly there is something so wrong about this whole hunger games kitten situation. While I understand there are outdoor cats, they are domesticate animals that would have absolutely no way of defending themselves against predators in such a rural area. It's honestly unsettling to think they were bought to just be picked off one by one when they could've been given to someone who had the time and desire to take care of them. I'm normally not one of these internet trolls that critiques other people's actions, but as a cat owner of outdoor cats that are still looked after and healthy this was just hard to watch.

Mildly irked that they let that happen to the kittens. I knew something would happen to them. I understand Shay is trying to display the rough and rugged farm life but cats are domesticated animals that are just as much loved and part of families as dogs can be and it really hurts to see him so casually shrugging off the fact that not even a month after owning a litter of kittens there's only one left. I live in an area with lots of farms and those people can treat them just like pets while letting them patrol their property. They provide them with food, care, and proper shelter and means of escaping predators and the elements. Maybe he hasn't developed that kind of attachment to cats since he's allergic but I don't think he'd do that to Zeke or a puppy and shrug it off if something happened.

I don't think the cats were intended to be pets. I think the kittens were intended to kill the mice around the farm but some people wont agree with that. Thats completely cool and I am not taking sides with you or Shay on this one because I believe that it is his decision so I hope this helps you understand a bit more.

So, I always see people asking for advice on starting a new grade and everyone always responds with something like 'be yourself and you'll be fine' but there is a lot more to it than that. So as a girl who's about to be a senior in high school, let me share what I've learned over the past 12 years. For you guys in elementary: Try to get a jump start on learning your multiplication and division early if you haven't already. That's honestly the hardest part of elementary. Be nice and make friends. You guys are lucky, you still have recess so take full advantage of playing outside with your friends everyday. Smile, treat people right, don't be rude, and tell your teacher to have a nice day. They don't get paid a lot and kids can be really stressful so just be kind to them. For you guys in middle school: I'm going to be honest and say that kids in middle school have the most identity crisises of all. One week, you're hanging out with the jocks, the next, you're hanging out with the wannabe emo kids who dye their hair black and listen to screamo. Everyone is trying to figure out which group of people they fit in with the most and almost everyone is going through their "rebellion" phase. Don't focus so much on doing what everyone else is doing, just do your schoolwork and try not to get into fights with the teacher. Again, they don't get paid a lot. Now, for you guys in high school: There is honestly so much I have to say for you guys. Let's be real, high school is brutal, especially when you're a freshman or a sophomore. You guys are the babies of the school, you're loud, you're obnoxious, and you pretty much get on everyone's nerves. I admit, that was kinda rude, but it's true. Even if you don't think it's true, it is. So, if you want to avoid being hated by everyone, don't be anything that I listed above. Just stay in your lane and don't bug anyone. Moving on, you guys have heard how your teenage years are supposed to be the best years of your life? Haha, wrong. Being a teenager sucks because everyone expects you to act like an adult, but they all treat us like we're children and never take us seriously. That's the biggest problem about being in high school. Not to mention, teachers pile tons of homework on us, making us lose sleep and stressing us out. Now, I have literally had multiple mental breakdowns before because of how much work I've had to do, so this brings me to my next point: Always. Get. Help. If you're struggling with something, talk to someone. School counselors are there for a reason. Onto another point, this is the biggest thing I've learned while in high school. DO NOT TAKE THINGS PERSONALLY. Drama is everywhere, and the best thing you can do is avoid it. That person who accidentally bumped into you in the hallway probably didn't mean to, don't be mad when your friends don't wanna hang out, we all need alone time and some need it more than others, and please for the love of god, don't spend time with anyone who makes you uncomfortable. Also, here's another big tip. Learn everything you can about the human body, whether it be in health class or stuff you google online, get to know the male and female body. High school is full of sex-crazed teenagers and it's terrible when people are using their bodies so much but know so little about them. And even if you are the kind of person who will wait until marriage to have sex, you still need to know about the human body, so learn all the information you can while you're young so you won't look like a fool when you're older. Saving the best for last, something you guys need to remember is that *your life is your life*. Do what makes you happy. Finishing up high school like I am, there will be a lot of pressure about which colleges to go to and what to major in. Unless it's something that you want to do, don't bother with it. If you're parents want you to go to law school, but you want to go to an arts school, go to art school. What you want matters. Your parents may say that they only want what's best for you, but the only person who knows what's best for you is yourself. Don't live to please others, live to please you. So as I close this long, long message off, I would just like to add, no matter what grade you're in: Study hard, eat right, drink lots of water, remember people's names, do your work, try not to procrastinate, go for walks when you get too stressed out (it's good for your body and your mind), never get into arguments with your teachers. Ever. Don't be too worried about having a lot of friends, know that it's okay to put yourself first and focus on your needs, get as much sleep as you can (teenagers actually need more sleep than babies do, I swear), and take lots of pictures so you can have things to remember your old friends by. I hope this helps you guys. I may be no expert, but I do know a thing or two!

I'm 17 and I'm completely different than I was when I was 14, 15, and 16. That's not a bad thing. Everyone thinks changing who you are is wrong, but it's not. I'm a much better person now than I was when I started high school and that's because, not only have I changed, but I have matured. Do well to make sure you mature also.

Forge_Joke Dear lord, yes. I have had major crushes on a bunch of people and I've even been in love before, so I think I can help you here. My biggest piece of advice is talk to your crush. Even just saying hello to them is better than not saying anything at all. And talk to them before it's too late because it'd be a bit weird if you go an entire school year without saying anything to them, then out of nowhere you want to have conversations (I've made that mistake too many times before). Something that's really important is don't just get to know your crush with hopes of becoming their boyfriend/girlfriend. Become their best friend. Be the person they come to when they need a shoulder to lean on, be someone that they trust. And don't believe that dating someone will ruin your friendship in the possibility of a breakup. If anything, it should make your friendship stronger. If you really care about someone, you'd do whatever it takes for them to stay in your life, even if they're your ex. Speaking of exes, you're most likely going to get your heart broken at some point. It'll hurt, but you'll live. Not everyone ends up with their first love (I didn't, but I'm just fine now) so I'm gonna tell you something that no teenager ever wants to believe. *You fall in love more than once*. That guy or girl you're obsessed with right now probably won't mean a thing to you when you're older and have moved on. It happens. And finally, be with someone that makes you happy. Everyone has this idea that fighting is a natural part of every relationship and while you're going to have arguments from time to time, it's not healthy to be with someone when all you do is fight. If you support each other, trust each other completely, and be open and truthful, you shouldn't have much to fight about anyway. Hope this helps!
