@@derekstryder2281 yeah, but in other fan content i feel like they're usually just written like a normal if edgy kid, but here there's a lot of uncontracted contractions and "do you not/is it not", which both highlights who they grew up with, and also from how long ago they are. also i kinda assumed chara's manner of speech and general vibe as a vengeful soul corrupted by violence would be somewhat different from how they'd be normally.

Btw, I think it's crazy that I spent the whole of January getting into In Stars and Time (and the prequel demo thing before it). Amazing game. Turns out Shinix was doing the same thing and that explains a LOAD of Clover's interactions and face sprites lmao (one of Clover's face file names is named after the main character of In Stars and Time).
