You simply substitute lentils, beans and peas for the meat, plant-based milks for dairy, then have plenty of dark leafy greens, raw fruits and vegetables, and ground up seeds, some non-GMO tofu and tempeh, and nuts if you like. It's important to stay away from all synthetic supplements, they're toxic and can't be absorbed as nutrition. Most supplements made from 100% real food like green powder or berries are good.

Making my own chocolate bars with nuts and oats, ground sunflowerseeds with some water to glue it all together. Put it in a flat bowl with some baking paper, press well like clay and store in a cool place. Cut it like a firm bread or cake. Stores fore weeks. Sesame, biscuits, lineseed, raisins, just throw it in there. It is the spices that make food tasty anyway. The "I need meat" is pure conditioning. For example, if you are recording to gather evidence of criminal or corrupt behaviour, the crime you document is more serious than the civil offence you are potentially committing by recording. In the first video the slaughterhouse owner almost had me tricked into thinking that she was believing her own lies, but the way she was trying to hide her son from the cameras clearly showed that she knew exactly what was going on and that she wanted to prevent you from finding out that her son knows nothing at all about respecting animals. My parents became vegan at age 80 and 75, and that is really impressive. They also let me be vegetarian when I wanted to, when I was 4, although the whole family was not vegetarian. They are healthy vegans now since 3 years, and they feel much better eating whole food plants, my mother cured here high LDL and high blood pressure, and my fathers cognition improved a lot.

yes but in order to really change things in reality, we have to take this step by step. call your local government representatives and demand change especially in factory farms. preventing animal suffering is my priority currently. the killing won't change anytime soon.

I don't know what's worse. The man doing the killing or the woman lying and denying it. Obviously the blatant violence is sickening and gut-wrenching. But it's also sickening to see that deep level of denial in that woman, and in all honesty, her approach to the topic is the more common one. The passive ignorance is almost more dangerous because fewer people would actually hurt an animal like that man did, but millions more would look the other way while they pay someone to do the killing for them. If everyone with a mentality like that woman woke up and changed their ways, it would put all the slaughterhouses out of business.

When I was younger, I had a security job and decided to get some OT one night. They sent me to slaughterhouses. I didn't know what the company was at the time and didn't think to ask. Even after they've 'cleaned'(maybe just sprayed down? =P) everything, the smell was absolutely disgusting. If I remember correctly, a lot of animals have better smell than humans. That includes cows. They say that blood can induce panic. Well, if I could STILL SMELL(and probably would have puked if it was during the day) after being cleaned down, then I'm pretty sure the cows are smelling it WELL before they even enter the building.
