Stopped by Beach Bum Outdoors the other day. Very impressive! Store looks great and I overheard a couple of your employees talking to customers about gear and fishing techniques. Courtney did an outstanding job. What I noticed is she remembered what you taught her the first fo around. Letting the shark run and then reel when it would stop. My wife does pretty well when I take her crappie and smallmouth fish but she still has problems when the smallmouth go airborne. She has lost several in the 5 pound range because she didn't know what to do when they go airborne. Hard teaching someone dealing with an angry smallmouth especially at night. Good job Courtney. Your husband should be proud of you and based on his reaction he is. Good job Beach Bums....

Matt, please get Courtney a fighting belt. She'll be able to extend her right arm further then have more power over the length of the rod. It should also be more comfortable than having the rod butt between her legs. Good helping by Annalise with the camera work! That shows some good presence of mind.

I really wish our beaches were that calm we can't hardly fish the surf unless we have 14 ft rods to get over the waves. The waves just crash our surf so bad. We still catch a lot of fish but it looks like every time yall go there's only small little waves breaking.

NC recently banned surf based shark fishing for competition. crazy right? its crazy when they do front flips when your hook is attatched. you almost have to instantly lift your rod tip up just to keep up with the flips

Just a thought. Lures are made to imitate bait , they're made to look like indigenous bait fish , but just because it says its made for freshwater (bass etc.) Doesn't mean you can't use it for saltwater. When the surf is that smooth and you can see fish schooling " BUZZ BAIT" ripped across the top of the water , the explosion will blow your mind. Now i realize you have sponsors and they want you to promote their products, but dude please try it out. You'll have one up on Brad and Brant , hhmmm hhmmm , yah .🤔🤭🤫😏
