Having a good work ethic is important for one self. I have noticed that if I do not give close to 80-100% it is hard to stay focused. 60% effort wuickly drops down to 25%. Also you lose the pride in your work and respect for your self. So I think doing a good work, is better and easier than slacking off. When ever I have been in work environment where people are not doing their job, being mean, etc. It is a miserable place to work.

You guys don't understand my 4yo daughter is OBSESSED w/ garbage trucks. She won't stop watching that show Trash Truck on Netflix either. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with anyone working any kind of job, especially working as a garbage person, of course as long as the job you do is legal. Be kind everyone. A little bit of kindness goes further than you may or may not realize. Especially if someone is having a crap day or the worst day of their life, your act of kindness could be the difference they need

The men that would come pick up our garbage, I knew by name. The boss man was my daughter’s best friends dad! In the summer I left a cooler with waters and Gatorade on my porch for them and a few snacks. It was also there for my delivery drivers and mail lady. At Christmas I’d always make them gift bags and I have always been kind to them because they help me and my family! Be kind to everyone. They deserve it and you never know what them or their own families are going through. ❤
