Shes giving good information the problem is that most people connect subscribers count with $. And thats bs 😒 i can tell you guys i made my first consistent $100k with less than 5,000 subs. And even now in my niche which is programming i make more money than people who have 1 million subs. Shes trying to give you game but ya so worried about how many subs she has... think of it like this... an nba coach dont play in the nba but can make a player play his best because they know everything about the game.

Thanks for leaving this comment, I'm trying to work smarter not harder! And these days it is hard to believe that people are genuinely trying to help without a motive! Or withholding the parts of information that's actually going to help someone achieve what they are claiming in the title of the video. I'm still confused, but I think I'm blocking myself with fear.... Idk. I'm also currently trying to overcome shyness without a clue as to how to do something just winging it. 😊

That my friend is the nature of people. Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch literally gave us the playbook to investing and most of us find ways to screw it up by trying to "make it better." Jordan = terrible coach/great player. Mike Singletary = mediocre coach/great player. Phil Jackson = great coach/okay player.

Well but if subs don't matter why would KZbinrs care about subs enough to ask for more subs then? From what I see subs matter they just are not the only factor but they tend to reflect in the view count though.

In just the first several minutes there was all the value I could have asked for. Articulating everything wrong with many of the methods consultants/course creators can get stuck in followed by highlighting a great hybrid system. The idea of combining Pre-recorded content for participants with live coaching is fantastic. Because it force multiplies your time - time wasted saying the same things 1:1 or in live coaching, and shifts your time to helping people in the live calls work through unique uncommon situations. Focused through high ticket low time investment goals for yourself. That alone was gold, the rest of the video dropped contextual nuggets. People also overlooked the fact that views/subs on KZbin are completely independent of real income and then discredit based on channel performance. Wasn't that mentioned in the first minute too? Ed, Lu, great video.

30:09 Even the way it's been laid out, you will need to still go back and create pre-recorded content and use consumer feedback. Also, even during the market research phase, if you need to pivot because it doesn't seem to be what potential clients need to solve a problem, that's already doing the work more than once. 🤔
@lulevy

The thing is, most people pre record their lessons, start paying for a course hosting platform, create landing pages, sales pages, funnels, lead magnets, and spend a whole lot of time and money doing all that when they'll have to update it/change it anyway. The key is to go super bare bones when collecting feedback, make sure your process works, and THEN invest time and money in all that.

23:41 I have tried approaches like this in the past, and people I have encountered who have been initially curious about meditation offerings (career shift for me) don't really know what there core issues are or simply clam up and feel too vulnerable. Even after multiple meetings and tons of questions, progress is incremental. I think this approach is best suited for already established industries in environments already primed to meet that demand. 🤔
@lulevy
@lulevy 6 ай бұрын
Some food for thought: sometimes you don't need a super life-changing transformation. Being just 1 or 2 steps ahead of your ideal client is already a great place to help them.
@letsdomath1750
@letsdomath1750 6 ай бұрын
@@lulevy Perhaps a case study would make sense there. Based on the experiences I have had, my first thought would be that that person would not be my ideal client but someone who is simply window shopping. For instance, if I want to offer a course to restore one's sleep using different meditation practices after periods of intense chronic and acute stress, I would prefer to work with people who can consistently dedicate more than 15 minutes per day to a relaxation routine to unwind from their daily stressors and allow their minds to settle. Yet even people I have worked with pro-bono whose lives would be most impacted by getting great sleep (for work, their relationships, self-image, physical and mental health) don't maintain the daily consistency needed to see compounding benefits and permanent results. Then, I am at a loss there because they are not keeping up with the routine that's required between sessions with me. I would offer tweaks and alternatives, and some would get frustrated with me because they were not seeing results, but I can't do the practices for them. 🤷‍♂️ And these were the only people in my immediate networks that were interested in exploring this in the first place. Eventually, the conclusion I came to was to be more selective about who I approach about the topic and to cast a wider net and meet more people to see who is more genuinely invested, and not flakey and undisciplined when it comes to matters of their own health and well-being, which is very time consuming. Thank you for your reply. I do think your approach does work for offers that can be easily spun as high-demand, time-saving approaches, but for what I have in mind, it seems that it's more for people who are either already inclined to be committed to changing aspects their lives for the better or who are desperate and see no other alternative.

Am I the only one when saying the amount of energy or positivity she emits/radiates is a little too much aka overwhelming? She comes off as VERY excited but it also gives me anxiety at the same time when listening. As if it's a little exaggerated/forced. It's like somone discovered something groundbreaking on-the-spot at the time of interviewing. I've been consuming so much information here and there on the subject and there's always a catch somewhere. Why would this be any different?
@joiathegreat
@joiathegreat Ай бұрын
Her energy is very positive and hard to match, and there was a time when I would have found it intimidating. But now I find it to be inspiring. She did say that it gives her energy to hear her clients success. People start and run businesses all the time with all kinds of catches, the difference is the mindset. When you have the motivation you will choose a path, start, and keep going to be successful even if you have to pivot along the way. If you're looking for problems you will be defeated before you start.

Hey guys. Great video. I'm curious to know the strategy behind her building a new channel. It seems one of her other channels is same content.

This is very interesting because her long videos never hit 1k views, and she’s inactive on KZbin.

This is a brand new channel, Lu has hundreds of thousands of followers on her Instagram and other KZbin, this ones her new English language channel, I didnt think many of my viewers would speak Portuguese so it seemed silly to link there

So I actually had a business where I sold fitness ebooks. My business partner was a personal trainer and we did well over a $1 million in sales. Our ebook is still stilling a some but over the years I’ve just lost the love for it because it was more based on my partner and his skills. So I r sold my share of it and now I’m in this weird place, I don’t really feel like an expert in anything. My partner handled most of the book stuff I just handled day to day admin stuff. I’m not really skilled in any one thing. I know a little about this and this. Never worked for anyone as I’ve always been an entrepreneur. So my issue is positioning myself as an expert when I don’t see myself as an expert. I don’t have any transformations beside the weight loss one I had which our products were based on but I don’t want to do mine in weight loss. So I dunno. The information she is sharing does work, but there is a lot the video doesn’t say too. But yeah, just venting my thoughts I guess.

All right due to the ongoing situations in my life. My mind has become very dense and I just can't extract the info out of her very long answers to his questions. Literally I feel like her words are too much to contain and absorbe. Maybe that's just me... Plz can anyone condense it down for me😢

So it's still just teaching people a thing that I don't want to do as a business model, I'm an artist. I am teaching people a thing but don't want to monetize that because I'm too busy figuring out how to monetize my art. I'm using the teaching to build brand and trust from potential customers.

Can someone more knowledgeable help translate these sales perspectives to help an entertainmet/educational KZbin channel? I'm finding it challenging to apply these ideas into concepts that would benefit my videos which don't specifically "solve a problem". 🙏

She’s telling great insights but I think she’s missing out the most important point- branding and positioning. Like even her image as a career coach is in question because her vibe seems almost too relaxed/ hipster. Just a pointer! I like her personality.
