I own land in Alaska. No restrictions on it. At one time I was planning on building small cabins on it, but after watching a lot of various videos including this one, I am now considering building tiny houses like this (Except more rustic Alaska Style). Due to being in wild fire region, it would make sense, I could have them pulled out to a safer area.

One thing about tiny homes on wheels You need a home or area with other tiny homes so you could hookup your gas and water stuff. You can’t live in the middle of no where. It sucks in my opinion. I like alone time sometimes.

What a wonderfully useable design, right up my alley as a non sleeping loft person. I think you're right about the cold weather and your windows. There used to be a product called window quilts that were multi layered moisture and insulating window coverings that rolled up like window shades. We use them in our loft in our home (quite large windows). We've had them up there for 25 yrs.

I am hopeful one day there will not be laws that restrict tiny homes. You can build as large as you wish, so for me it isn't logical to have certain rules to how small. M.J. Boyle builds them really fast, usually it takes people around 2 years to build a one. I am also wondering if she has a youtube showing her own tiny home. Great job!!!

I am 101% for this way of life I live in a large house I run a large business and in the very near future I am going to sell everything and either live in one of these or on a boat but either way I want to really become a part of this community because it's just me and me alone in a 2000 square foot house is just a waste plus I love the fact that no two tiny houses are alike, and admire what you have done and the work that you're involved in, most people don't realize what you and others are contributing to the Future environment of our planet, and it is a very important issue, plus nothing could be a more interesting conversation then to explain about your lifestyle and where you live, I wish I could pick your brain some more but I do not miss a video on your Channel or anyone else who does this I think I've seen every tiny house that's made up to date LOL, keep doing what you doing you are a fantastic human being and you have a fan all the way up here in Connecticut... Very cheerful interior decorating. I would have loved to attend K-12 classrooms with that color scheme, drapes, etc. It is important to be able to soak your feet in shampoo water. Another idea for the shower stall, bath tub is recycled freezers. Every food bank in every zip code should work with companies like Urban Ore in Oakland and Berkeley to help find second homes for quality objects, for tiny house builds. I see quality items on or near the sidewalk almost every week, with a FREE sign taped on it for passersby. They usually stay for weeks until they probably get taken to the landfill. Every day on the sidewalk, they get more rain, dust, mold (couches) and then they are useless. They need to get taken away to a tiny house builder immediately. For example, a refrigerator with one tiny, one inch scratch in the door coating, with a sign that said, 'works great, needs a good home.' Many skilled people could cover up the door scratch and make it look new or artistic. It probably ended up in the landfill. Churches could have teens build tiny houses and donate them to church communities in Mexico, etc. Your tiny house community might host book clubs discussing permaculture. Book clubs are a good way to bring new people together to discuss something new (or old) without the stress of getting a grade. August 7, 2018

I like tiny houses but have no place to put one. I also have been interested in how well I'd like using a composting toilet, staying here would give me an opportunity to try one. I want to downsize eventually for just me or me & a cat or dog, so to be able to rent a tiny house for a time would be a good way to check how comfortable it is to stay in one. M.J. offers that opportunity and in a country setting which is nice.
