Fun Fact: Carnage is the Only Symbiote that uses 'I" Pronoun. Most Symbiotes uses "We" Pronoun as an representation of the fact that Symbiote and Host are working together. But because this symbiote was fused with Cletus Kasady by blood, and that he's a psycho, it caused Symbiote to be in a way hijacked. So Carnage is 100% Cletus Kasady, and is an extension of his body.

TRIVIA TIME! 1) The connections between Carnage and Lucy are that they are both psychopathic and misanthropic killers with dual personalities and superhuman abilities. Both of their powers are hereditary, biological in nature, and manifested as tendrils. Both are non-human and can pass their powers onto others (symbiotes like Carnage can infect people, and when a Diclonius like Lucy cuts a person, their biology is altered so their descendants are Diclonii as well). It is likely the host is also taking the damage the symbiote takes when it is in control, but it is just getting put back together again. They never say that the host feels any pain from it, but if it did _holy shit would it suck to be a host_

Right but that's for a standard symbiote... like Venom, who chose the host and didn't "fuse" together. Cletus Kasady didn't exactly pair with Carnage, the symbiote was done through blood, so in a sense, Cletus IS Carnage, whereas Venom is more like a biological Iron Man suit that doesn't like loud noise. What I am getting at here is that a host like Eddie may feel the pain, it's probably exponentially less painful than actually being shot or having a car slam into him or something like that, whereas with Carnage, I would imagine it to be something like if Deadpool were to be able to manipulate his body to having extended biological weapons and be far more resistant to physical damage, where it still hurts Cletus, but because the regeneration Carnage has is so high, Cletus just doesn't care.

They actually did give a speed for Lucy in the initial analysis that trumped Carnage's speed. Lucy's arms move over 1800 m/s while Carnage was given a speed of 1500 m/s. I think that was to show that Lucy was faster than Carnage even at her base level, as the speed feat they mentioned at the end is her at full power.

She's literally a telekenetic superhuman with 100 mile wide arms composed of dense, high frequency molecules. It's like she's using the force at this point. The power level is insane. Pretty sure the eyeball suit clip was a Power Rangers monster. As for Lucy, she's from an anime called Elfen Lied (pronounced Leed). Really leans into the shock value and fan service character models. She's basically treated as a tragic monster seeking redemption. While not the standard yandere (don't ask), she's still a textbook example of why to always fear pink-haired anime girls. They're f**king crazy.

Man, hard to believe it's been more than 3 years since this DB. And I have quite a story with this one. You don't have to read it if you're not interested (I am biased in this so beware...!). Otherwise, read on: Since 2017, I used to be a huuuuuge Lucy stan (still kiiiiiinda am to an extent, but I've moved on to better recently), and seeing her in DB shocked me since I never expected her to get in. That shock would then turn into nervousness and pensive sadness when I heard of all that Gene Bomb stuff & Sentry scaling. I knew nothing about powerscaling back then so I just took it all at face value and was not happy about Lucy's chances lol. Until I wound up reading a version of this MU in DeviantArt where Lucy won and this prediction blog where Lucy also won, and the arguments seemed reasonable to say the least. That gave me a little hope that she could maybe pull through, but the nervousness that my girl would get brutalized still didn't completely die out: I had a feeling that DB might make her get brutalized. As you could imagine, I went in to the DB very nervous. And I was extremely delighted when I saw the 'KO' announcement right after Lucy just stood there after she finished off Carnage. I was also happy that the video came to the same conclusion as the DA fight and the prediction blog. The latter was something that actually encouraged me to casually dabble in VSDebates, defend certain conclusions I would come to (and yes, I would get myself in debates on whether this DB was right or not quite often, and let's just say some of those debates were beyond frustrating ^_^'), learn how to calculate feats, and most importantly, make new friends who I hold very close to me to this day. Now? I am now a staff member on VSBattles that focuses on evaluating and making calculations for the community; I'm now very close friends with the person who wrote that DB in DeviantArt and am a part of a small family of brothers; I've made countless amazing friends in my stay; I still believe this DB is right, though the research was admittedly pretty shit lol (Mach 2 Carnage will always be a meme to me). All these new experiences; these new strong bonds; my stay in this community; it all has helped me grow as a person to an extent. And I have nothing else to thank but this episode. Carnage vs. Lucy is a DB episode I will cherish forever, just like how Lucy forever cherished her memories and moments with Kouta as a kid. Thank you for reading this, reader. Lol i am sorry to say that but the feats for carnage are completely wrong. Carnage is atleast 400x tumes faster than lucy. He is also very good at Multitasking and spider man carryed a 150 tons building(carnage is much stronger than spider man). I think they made this fight just to let a women win against a male. Fun fact: Carnage is voiced by Christopher Guerrero, the same guy who does the"FIGHT" and "KO" announcements. He also played the commentator in Balrog vs TJ Combo. Actually, Carnage reminds me of Toguro's brother from Yu Yu Hakusho. Not the whole blood thing, but the fluid body thing where he literally survived being sliced to shreds by Kuwabara's energy fly swatter attack because as he stated, he can not only form himself into just about any shape possible, but shift around his vital organs to keep them from being damaged by otherwise fatal wounds.

In her fight with Bando, her vectors did go through his body at some point, infecting him with the Diclonius Virus. After said fight, it was explicitly stated that it was best that he was castrated because, at this point, if he were to ever have a child, they will be a Diclonius. Plus, Lucy and the other Diclonii can be compared to a Queen bee and her Workers. Lucy is the Queen, meaning that while she can infect people with the Diclonius Virus, she is also capable of reproducing sexually, meanwhile the rest, similar to Worker bees, cannot reproduce sexually.

Elfen Lied was one of my favorite anime when I was younger, I have the box set, but the anime is far less insane than the manga is. It's also pretty short, you can binge the full thing in a day. They do a really good job of building up each character and making you actually feel intrigued by their stories and all the horrors each of them has seen - it's a show where very few characters have any innocence left, but the story is pretty good, even with the flaws it has. It's one that I typically suggest when people ask for suggestions, even with the flaws present.

Now Carnage is not a Spider-Man villain I’m very familiar with as they don’t play around with him much across Spider-Man media outside the comics…you know with the psychotic murders that need to be covered. Rare moment where I’m NOT rooting for my childhood character. Just something about Lucy stood out…other than her absolute destruction of human lives I consider on par with Alucard from Hellsing. Probably still lesser but the gore is up there. What I REALLY love about this death battle is the music. The music is fucking awesome. Piano fight music is always scary as hell but never fails to just blow me away.

Funny trivia about the Joker comment you made. Apparently in one crossover marvel and DC did, the Joker and Carnage actually met, and the Joker was honestly disgusted by the way Carnage acted. It was sort of because they had different views of their idea of Chaos. Basically Carnage just kills for the sake of it, while the Joker does it with a sort theatrical comedy to it. To put it in perspective. If you were to put both Joker and Carnage into a prison to go wild, Carnage would just slaughter everyone by himself, the warden, the guards, the inmates and have fun doing it. The Joker on the other hand would just kill the warden and let out the prisoners to go wild, taking a seat on the side and bask in the feeling while the guards and inmates kill each other. While there are some similarities between them, at the end of the day they have different end goals.

The eyeball monster was Eye Guy from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Season1 episode 8. Footage and costume taken from Japanese tokusatsu (special filming) Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. Carnage probably got blocked because of the release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage film. Fun Fact: Klyntar is a word that means Cage. Billions of years ago, Knull was the God of Darkness and got upset when the cosmic gods Celestial started building a bright universe. He actually sliced off the head of one Celestial, which became the Knowhere from Guardians of Galaxy. After his sword All-Black was stolen, he created symbiotes to corrupt and destroy the universe, include the Dragon Grendel that landed on Earth and was defeated by THOR. With the link disabled the symbiotes rebelled and imprisoned there evil master in a planet made of there own bodies. Then they tried to reinvent themselves as heroes. Elfen Lied is very disturbing. To save future watchers from the trauma, here are some of the characters other than Nyu/Lucy/Kaede. Kouta the male protagonist, the only boy that was nice to Kaede, but when he lied about his cousin, she went on a slaughter at a festival before killing his little sister and father on a train or bus. Yuka is cousin who wants Kouta for herself. Maya is a little runaway girl who ran away because her stepfather only married her mother to molest her. Nana was a sweet short-haired diclonus sent to capture Lucy (sweet despite being tortured/experimented on by scientists) and had all her limbs removed by Lucy. In the Research Facility, there is Director Kakuzawa and son who inbred family with horns who want to forcibly procreate with Lucy (they die). Dr. Kurama's wife was infected by the Diclonus virus and gave birth to insanely powerful Mariko who delights in tearing people apart (think a baby playing with mud and replace the mud with blood) and then he commits suicide to kill her with a bomb while have images of the normal life they could have had. Also Dr. Kurama's clumsy secretary Kisaragi ends up having her head torn off in the first episode and her body used as a meat shield. Also, anybody infected with the Diclonus virus from the invisible vectors will have Diclonus children, so anyone infected is surgically sterilized. If your wondering - I do research for a multiple crossover fanfiction author. Everything from characters to technology to biology to insane math (and I'm bad at math!).

So, this fight, like Jotaro vs. Kenshiro before it, is of a special breed- what I call the One-Shot Johnny Club. One side is a lot more durable, and has the raw force to get an OHKO in if they can actually get fucking close. The other side needs to keep their guard up the entire time, totally aware of their relative squishiness, but can't do much that'll cause harm . . . outside of a basically guaranteed instant kill move they just need to land. And yes, I _do_ think it's funny that the squishier character in both matchups had something invisible and theoretically indestructible to protect themselves.

I only watched elfen lied anime(didn't read manga) and only knew carnage from his few appearances in the spiderman and avengers cartoons(don't read comics) but given their pre-fight stats, I was expecting carnage to win mainly because he could infect people and he did cut lucy a couple times but I really wanted lucy to win; lucy won and I'm glad she did.

You may go back to Natsu vs Ace? Oh god I hope not. It’s the only battle I absolutely refuse to ever watch again and by far the one I hate most. In fact it’s the only one I’d ever say I hate, with the next worse being only mild indifference (and before anybody jumps on me, no it isn’t because [character] loses, I find the entire battle concept dumb, they didn’t include remotely anywhere close to decent research for one of them, at the end of the day I do ultimately agree with the final decision but literally every step they take getting there is flawed and stupid). BUT ONTO THE ACTUAL BATTLE AT HAND! I love the soundtrack for this battle for how haunting it is. It legitimately feels spooky and unnerving which is extremely appropriate for these two characters. I’m also a guy who likes to have believable setup and story for why these characters are fighting, there’s nothing I hate more than just plopping the characters together and fighting for no reason… and yet that’s exactly what would be totally in character here. Carnage’s entire personality is just “murder, murder, torture, and more murder,” so him showing up at any random place to instigate a fight is, well, the only real appropriate way to start a Death Battle involving him. I also really like the dark intro there with Lucy waiting for the train and it stops… with blood splattered on the windows. Good creepy setup and five seconds foreshadowing to Carnage himself, just perfect and beautiful for the situation. Then the fight itself is just *chef’s kiss*. It’s played with Lucy on the back foot the whole time, trying to defend and counterattack against this seemingly unstoppable monster, while the whole time you can see that she’s analyzing and figuring out her opponent. She’s testing the waters, seeing where the limits lie while he’s just coming at her like a crazed animal. Every time she splatters him she learns something else about what he can do and adjusts her strategy accordingly (whereas many other Death Battles consist largely of characters throwing their attacks at one another back and forth until their ultimate blow finally takes). It’s a far more cerebral fight than it initially seems at first glance and it wouldn’t be nearly as good if these two weren’t made in just the right way to be a perfect combination. Still looking forward to Mario vs Sonic rematch, and Thanos vs Darkseid, both great battles!

Venom vs Corona is a good one. Corona is a character from an anime called "Soul Eater" which in a nutshell....a bunch of students go to a special school and work for Death (aka grim reaper) to hunt souls. There is actually soul eating. there are two of students. a miester which can wield the weapon they use to hunt souls and witches. the other turns into the weapon (there are sisters who turn into hand guns). Corona is a miester in a sense...only he/her weapon.....you know the saying "devil on your shoulder" he/she practically does. there is a black creature that sprouts from his/her back that acts really as a bully. pounding him/her, trash talking, etc. oh the reason why I say him/her and he/she.....they never confirmed if its a guy or a girl. they wear a dress and has a feminine voice (but voice actor does use it for male characters) but is refered to as a boy...but its not confirmed

It is pronounced Elfen _Lee-ed_ (or _lee-d,_ or _leet_ ). Most people pronounce it either Lide because they think it is English, or they pronounce it Leed because they know it is German but don't know enough German (although it is close enough a German will understand it). The reason it is pronounced that way is that it is the German word for song. In German, you pronounce the second letter in a "ie" or "ei" arrangement (which is why Rammstein is pronounced Rom Shtine, not Steen, and yes the S is an Sh even though it lacks the "sch" German words need for the Sh sound, that's because St sometimes has that exception). However, when Lied is a noun you pronounce it as "lee-ed" instead of the verb "leed." On a side note, the "steen" pronunciation in names that end in "stein" _mainly_ comes from English speakers mispronouncing it. German immigrants from before WWII would adopt the "steen" pronunciation to adapt better to America. This has sorta gotten back to Germany in a roundabout way, but if you meet a native German with stein in their name you should assume it is "Shtine" (although some Germans will pronounce it as just an St and not Sht, but that is a regional accent and not the actual rule, which is in itself an exception to the other rules about pronouncing Sh) There are exceptions in every language, so keep that in mind if you know other German words that don't follow those rules.

Disagree. Carnage is waaay faster. Nova and him fought and while novas helmet was wrong and slowed him down, even a 100th of his speed is hundreds of times hers. He’s dodged light attacks like fire star (?) I believe his name is. Given speeds mentioned, his healing, above durability being far greater, and that he explicitly can infect people with shots, not connections (he does it twice). Her arms can be felt, Bando, a human felt them. As Carnage has access to all his senses everywhere all at once, he would definitely notice (like the Nightwing db, he would know what she was doing). Even if she had a hundred arms, he would win I think this is cool, but she should have lost. Even with his madness, her limits, his speed and her glaring weakness of horns would definitely happen.
