Fun facts (More/clearer details in TFS' Creator Commentary video covering it, the video's on their FourStarBento channel): - Goku's ship taking out the Ginyu's: It slightly comes from Grant before he joined the team. At the time the episode came out, he was active on a thread and very critical about the show, he didn't like their portrayal of Goku at the time and said that it would have just been better if Goku's ship just landed on the Ginyu Force and killed them all, Goku included. So when they got to the Kai episode, they weren't sure how to properly cover them for the episode due to there being a LOT more stuff to work with in Season 2 as far as their material, then they remembered that comment Grant made and in a weird way, was slightly fulfilled. - Vegeta's line about Team Three Star not being funny: It was a quote said by one of their staff members a long time ago. I forget who it was exactly at the moment writing this comment, I also don't remember what it was in response to either. (Need clarification) - Goku's line when Vegeta is killed: The line itself is actually Goku's VA making a pause, it's actually a flub. The bit about Vegeta coughing up blood as a comedy beat I think was something they thought of and didn't realize until after the episode was finished and out. (Need clarification on the latter part) - Porunga's line: The audio is just "F#@% you, I'm a Dragon!" backwards. - Piccolo's "All of them?!?!": The line is originally from one of the dubs of Classic Dragonball I believe. It was in response to, I THINK, Goku saying he missed all his vital organs, and that line is how Piccolo responds.

It was an April Fools gag and it kinda breaks the patterns they deliberately build with the "official" Kai episodes ("I am hilarious..." type stuff), which can somewhat spoil the jokes in Kai 3. My suggestion would be to watch 2.9 alongside the epilogue/shortz stuff after the series proper, but you do you.

His Rocket transformation can literally fly and move at speeds similar to Nimbus but is still bound by his natural stamina and his shoddy transformation skill training.
