dude my dream! in middle school (my emo days, roughly 2007-2008) i went to a youth group at andover called One Man Short. it was a skateboard church and they played wicked guitars during worship. always made me want to play so bad. and when we started band in 5th grade with mr hollis i wanted to play but got stuck with a flute. but anyways in 2010 my stepdad found an unused fender starcaster at a garage sale for i think like $100. perfect learners guitar. never took lessons. i tried to play around on it and my dreams were killed when i realized i fat short stubby fingers and i couldnt fathom how i would ever be able to play and reach for the notes with my sausage fingers.i hope you stick with it. my 15 year older brother is learning how to play bass right now. its one of the many things i always wanted to do but never really got to go through with it. good luck.
