Hey guys awesome video. AWESOME feature. Couple of questions. 1. Is that Pennsylvania Fieldstone? The mossy boulders. 2. Is the moss bad for the ecosystem? (If you are doing a pond but no fish?) 3. The different directions, is that the way you carved when excavation was done? Or is it rock placement? And last 4, when backfilling pulling the liner back, I'm a bit confused.. did that create your depth/edges? And how tight up against the rocks is it? Tight correct? And then you go inside the liner and use foam (between Boulders & liner) to create the watertight/direction of flow? Thanks again effin sweet!

No pa field stone. It's all weathered limestone rock from Missouri

Yeah we often over excavate so we have freedom with rock placement, and then backfill after we have the rocks in place. And yes, then foam between the rocks and liner as needed to direct the water how we want

Glad it helped man! That particular stream used the AquaSurge 4000-8000, do approx 7,000 gallons per hour. With that size pump, you can have a waterfall that is choked all the way down to 6"-8" wide for a boulder style falls, or up to maybe 24" wide with a sheet style falls

Love it. Will that water clear up like a regular pond or do the pondless stay a little more opaque simply due to the innate aspect of the feature's design? That thing is kick ass by the way.

No it won't stay muddy. that water will become crystal clear as well. Takes about a week or so. Thanks man!

Hey Paul, we were drilling out a hole in the thing we used for a mounting bracket for the automatic fill valve. The auto fill valve keeps water in the basin topped off so that it replaces water lost to evaporation.
