@12:21 Not just Africans and Caribbean people were taught not to eat at everybody's house. We black Americans were taught the same thing. Evil can jump in many ways. Watch what you put into your belly.

Caribbeans are Africans who were brought here during slave trade many of the things we carried our ancestors gave to us, we masked many things to survive but that’s why there’s so much in common ❤️

Exactly. Spellwork can be done into the food, people can tamper with food and many people are just nasty.

I’m from Sierra Leone and growing up I remember my mother telling me a story of how her aunt gave birth to a baby that showed signs of disability. Couldn’t hold his neck up after 5+ months, no engagement or awareness all he did was breast feed. One day my grandfather decided to perform a ritual that requires pounding rice and setting it along the thick branch of a tree. After placing his “nephew” on the tree face down, the baby literally turned into a snake upon licking the pounded rice. Never heard of any similar occurrence till today so I had to share 😂

What's So the baby was a snake, the whole time?
@KngKamara
@KngKamara 27 күн бұрын
@@Allthingsjennyofficial whole fkn time it was a snake! All the baby ever did was breastfeed from what I was told. I never doubted the story but after hearing this identical story from Nigeria I have no shadow of a doubt that this was probably commonplace back in those days. Shit maybe even nowadays, who knows fr? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣

They are the absolute best. We used to sit around the campfire and my cousins. And aunties will tell us stories like this all the time. Although it was too scary to walk away. But the story were too good. You had to keep listening. I will be sharing more. There are the best.

some African babies have a condition called Neural Tube defect which is a genetic defect that is high risk, especially in east Africa. One way to combat this, would be to make sure women get plenty of folic acid pre and during conception. The description of the children are the defects that some of the children have.

First story sounds like a crock and ignorance just because the baby had special needs. Rather than seek real medical professional help, they would rather treat a baby cruelly and cause the mother to worsen in post partum psychosis. Not to mention, they lie about what truly happens to make a sensationalized story that is meant to scare and control women.

West Africans need to tell Americans the truth. Black Americans are the lost identity and consciousness. Due to this fact, they cherry pick cultures and associations when it's convenient for them. Secondly, notice that they are not committed or dedicated to anything culturally. They approach cultures like colonizers and don't recognize it. There's a reason for this behavior. The behavior is strikingly different than that of Africans throughout the continent. It's shameful. They claim everything and everyone. They're indigenous, Hebrews, Moors, Spainards, Egyptian, and so forth.

@@BeautyandtheBritt False. BOL You all need to stop culturally appropriating and cheery picking cultures based on your convenience. You need to accept yourselves. Your predispositions, geography, history, DNA prove that what you're saying isn't true.
