There are some houses that don’t decorate (we just don’t film them). Also, I have heard that the Christmas theming is disclosed in the realtor info when you buy there (but idk for sure that that’s true or to what extent). I’ve also heard that many of the decorations are handed down from previous homeowner to next. All good questions & it’s always an interesting read when people ask similar on local online groups. Oh! And I should mention that there are houses with decorations representing Jewish traditions, as well as lots of non-Christian theming (like cartoons, animals, and dogs). Yes, they are Christmas lights, but that doesn’t mean every home that is joining in is a Christian home 💗
