It's the same in the UK. Having kids was the only way to get social housing easily and be supported for five years. When my sister was growing up, her friends would check and match their period cycles and kids' ages to see if they were ready for a second child from some unknown stranger.

Here she is getting 3 k and having babies for the pay, and here my husband and I fighting for our disability, been working and paying taxes since 15 years old and begging for food stamps until we can get it. About to get evicted from the house we bought when we were both working. Car needs 2000.00 in repairs. Neither of us have insurance, having to go through the county for medical help. We have busted our butts the majority of our lives Now can't get any help.

The odd jobs I was doing to barely pay my electric bill have dried up. Me too. I just lost my husband in Aug. I was his caregiver for 3 1/2 years. Now my body is broken down. I just turned 59. I was turned down for SS survivor benefits. I am trying to get SS Disabled Survivor Benefits. I get food from food banks and church.

Same here I been working since I was 16 got almost ten years in the coal mine when I hit 37 found out I have heart problems had 4 surgeries still in heart failure and they denied my disability. Just because a fringe group of people abuse the system doesn't mean that every person who has more than x amount of kids should suffer. I have 6 kids and yes my family has government help but it's not like we are eating like kings and I am working toward one day getting off the assistance but if it was limited to only 2 kids then I would have to take a second job and pretty much remove myself from the raising of my children in order to just become an absentee father and nothing but a paycheck to them. Not everyone who is on ebt abuses it or even gets anywhere near that amount.

I’m all for families in need getting assistance, but no one needs $3k for food, not even a family of 9. At some point this is mostly for the benefit of corporations. Parents in need should be encouraged to be fiscally responsible. It is not the government’s responsibility to subsidize stores and manufacturers via food stamps, so this is the type of waste and excess “efficiency” should address. As for this woman, the biggest concern is the steady rotation of random men in and out of her home who have access to her minor children. What’s sad is not loving your child enough to at least try to give them the best outcome. She has stacked all the odds against her children. That’s what makes her a horrible person.

I found her page and she is basically PROUD of $3k food stamps and a free 5 bedroom home in FL. Ive been on food stamps, but I needed them, and wasnt trying to stay there, and I was still working, even 2 jobs at 2 different times in my life. Ladies shouldn't depend on the government to help raise a family. The help is there IF, IF, IF you need it but don't expect a handout.
