The more you watch this scene and the rest of the episode, you start to ask yourself "Wait a minute. You can control being the She Hulk this entire time and you're solution after being catcalled was to possibly kill those guys?" By the way, that was not Cat Calling. Cat Calling is whistle, shout, or comment a woman's sexual nature. All I heard was "What's up?," "How you doing?," "you with anyone?," "what's your name?" "Hey, we were just being friendly." If you leave out that contexts, yeah they sound lovely. Combined with those questions, they disregard anything she said and the 3 guys started following the lone woman who was trying to leave them. So yeah I could see that triggering fear especially since she didn't have control at this point, and didn't know she could do that. You see scenarios like this a lot in movies. They guys start off nice and start following the woman not leaving her alone as she tries to get away from them. They They say "What? You're too good for us?" People don't get that she didn't know how to control the transformations until Bruce started helping her how to 'hulk'. She wanted no part in the superhero realm, so it would come as no shock if she told Bruce that she didn't want to know about every detail of his hulk side. It wasn't like she knew everything about being a hulk simply because she's been a hulk for like, what, an hour? In a situation out of her control, where she's being harassed by three men in a dark parking lot with no one else around, a woman is going to fear for her safety. Baselines of a hulk transformation that she didn't know about.

It's a matter of understanding the threshold of anger and disciplining yourself to not act on it in that stressful situation. That's what the hulk transformation is--the anger manifesting into a physical form to protect yourself and that's what Bruce was trying to teach her. In a situation out of her control, with no clue as to control her transformation or even realizing what was happening to her, what do you think her reaction was going to be in a setting where she feared for her safety, which women are put in all the time? Turn around and smile? Once she understood her threshold, she was able to control it much better because she puts up with having to be put in situations where she's invalidated as an equal and is considered fair game to toxic and possibly dangerous men on a daily basis. Bruce doesn't have to worry about having to go out every night and constantly fear that a group of men would jump him simply because they see him as an object to take their desires and insecurity out on. Women are in constant fear of that and are angry all the time because no one wants to change that, Jen is no different. Generally, women live in fear more than men do.

OOOOH! I see now. My Bf was all worked up about this new show saying she was fully in control and tried to kill 3 nice guys just talking to her. Which I thought was stupid. Edit Both of us had not seen the show yet. He was just going off of what he heard online. I decided to look up this scene which has so many guys worked up. So I had to watch this. It turns out this was her first time hulking out, she didn't even know she was able to Hulk and she didn't have full control at this point. So I get that now. Then the "Nice guys" were not nice. Was her fear warranted a matter of perspective but her aloofness and walking away from a safely lit area doesn't help. Women often complain that men aren't persistent enough, often they will put men through the shit test so its easy to misinterpret her reaction as one of those moments. I've had moments like this myself when all I asked was how was your day, I knew they thought better of themselves so I tried other conversation openers and eventually some people opened up. So persistent talking doesn't necessarily equate harassment. Although I would say these guys approach was terrible. Creepy stare what's your name!?! not good. Secondly people in groups often become more aggressive, the same goes for women at a bachelorette party. However did they do anything that warranted her reaction to them before they started following her? Where they an actual threat or like the man says only trying to be friendly?
