You guys are saying that She-Hulk is better than other marvel shows? This review must be a parody. "See characters grow" Jesus christ man they gave her a dog for a wedding companion....and she did nothing about it..!!! What did she grow into? She is still a nerd!!! The lawyer bit was stupid. Where was the opposing lawyer ? The lawyers were supposed to protect the client..no? There is no way that Titania should be in the scene. The bride is supposed to be Jen's friend. This is not a comedy ..this is a cartoon.

Yeah I don’t know what they’re watching. The “character growth” got me lmao Jen episodes 1-5: arrogant, snarky, prideful, dislikes and mocks men, fucks a guy on the first date, then calls him a cliche’ and shrugs when he dips because she cat phished him, uninterested in being heroic in any way shape or form and proud of it, no difference between herself and she hulk Jen 6-7 suddenly insecure about herself, sees she hulk as a different persona and is reluctant to be Jen, desperately wants a man, let’s everyone walk all over her, still no interest in being a hero( engages in a fight in the middle of a crowded room and doesn’t show any concern for the innocent and is annoyed to have to accompany her anxious human coworker to see about the abominations parole) suddenly demure and shy with a man and waits three dates to fuck him before pathetically glueing herself to her phone the entire episode, suddenly arrogant and rude to all the men around her again, dismisses everyone’s problems and deflects her own for the majority of the episode. The only “growth” she has in episode seven was admitting that she was thirsty and I’m hard pressed to call it “growth” since she is praised and validated by the men as being too good for that guy and just needing to spend more time with herself. Like, that’s all Jen has been doing is spending time with herself and acting like she’s all she needs to be happy. Once again the narrative makes her out to be the victim and blames others for her bitterness instead of Jen just admitting that she is unhappy in her career, insecure, wants a man and needs to work on her many, many flaws. The show tries to make it seem like that’s what happened, but they use obviously evil beta guy as their scapegoat and catalyst. Jen doesn’t actually admit any fault of her own smh and I’m sure we’ll do a soft reset for episode 8 where she’s insufferably arrogant again

The show doesn’t suck just because it is a lawyer comedic sitcom (at it’s core) set in the MCU, rather than a comedic superhero action with a side dish of some lawyer content it is was in the comics. The MCU is a very interesting universe that should have more than just superhero action, and you don’t like it, just stick to the more action packed stuff and stop annoying everyone else by complaining about stuff that is not your cup of tea.

Damn I usually agree with you guys but this show is just plain bad let's be honest. And this is from an avid mcu defender. The first 2 eps were promising and then it slumped, but I kept giving it a chance hoping the next episode would get better. But it just kept getting worse and worse. 6 episodes in and we have nothing. Its rarely funny. Law scenes are so painfully weak. No cool comic book moments. I just dont know how this show was passed for release. It's almost as if disney is testing how shit they can make their content and still have people consume it.

I think the reason for the noticeable bump up, in the CGI, might be due to the amount of skin shown. Maybe it’s easier to render skin than cloth. That’d explain why the Hulk looks more high res. He’s usually half naked, and what clothing he’s wearing is skin tight. If they ever get Jen in her F4 costume, she’ll probably look jaw dropingly realistic.

But there's a definite difference between the shots of her in the office and the ones in broad daylight, though like Chris said, I'm more forgiving when a comedy has shaky CGI as opposed to something more serious in the MCU.

I think it's likely due to time. CG scenes aren't exactly made in order. It's possible some scenes were moved around or some episodes were shuffled during pre-production and they had to rush on some scenes to meet schedule.

Sure the wedding and the 1st episode in the forest are high brightness and outdoors for a lot of it BUT in the enironment there are trees and obsucring things causing shadows. Much like IRL people have to deal with in offices - areas of direct flourescent light make EVERYONE look bad. You can excuse realistic shading that aids in her look when you can go "well maybe the shading that shows texture is because the light is broken up by a tree/whatever" in an office building - it has to be washed out and direct and that does NOT work well for her face. At least Bruce has facial hair stubble to break up the plasticy/glassy look that could make the area around the mouth seem to drag or "slide" which I find a problem with Jen sometimes. Does that excuse some of the walking/body animation not being great in some episodes? Absolutely not BUT I think its a genuine issue for some of the face shots in that law firm. 🤷‍♂

The first one focusing on her blood being capable of boosting the capability of the Hulk regenerative healing, that sample being destroyed, some one sending a group to try and take it, a mysterious boss, a new undergound organization targeting her, and the upgrade of the needle used in an attempt to get blood from her. Stop the cap. I believe that Marvel is attempting to listen and not rush the plot like many have complained about for other shows. I think Jen (main character)is starting to develop as a person allowing her new life to start, example she is now taking some pride in being She Hulk (the last two episodes). In the first two she did not even want to transform. Then she only did it for work, then for part of her social life ( the dating episode) now we see her claiming her name (episode 5 i think) and showing up to personal events as She Hulk (this past episode) it seems that she is realizing that it is just a reflection of her and not something that will stop her life but a new chapter. The bad writing and not funny that is subjective I guess. I think (just my opinion not like the previous information provided) it is pretty clever how they placed these jokes months ahead of time and as each episode releases it is a reflect of She Hulk series back lash of this show is trash, there is no character development, the jokes are not funny, no over arching story and bad writing. She Hulk is a cheese as* character. They better right some cheese lines, she has never been as serious as the Hulk ever. Again just my look at it (opinion). But thanks for providing example of the bad writing, no character development, not being funny, and no over arching theme. I have a lot of free time today (today I got time cuz lol). It has been a while lol.

I’m sorry, but this is one of the worst written and boring marvel shows that we’ve had. I still haven’t been able to find the man character likable or the jokes funny. The action, when it happens sucks, the constant jokes about men being bad are distracting since it’s in every episode, and almost every episode feels like a waste of time. Of course there are some people who like it, but the ratings are showing that this show isn’t doing it.

This show forgets its own plot (if there is one) and breaks its own canon since it forgets events that previously happened. It also has no idea how to write a lawyer show which the writers admitted. Titanai can bust through concrete, take two full force blows to the face by She-Hulk, but a slip onto wooden floor somehow does more damage. Okay... We had an entire episode dedicated to Jen getting new clothes. Luke was suppposed to design Jen clothes that not only can fit She-Hulk, but can form fit Jen when she 's not She Hulk. So why in this episode does Jen look like a toddler wearing her mom's polka dot dress (that Luke made) when she's not She-Hulk? I thought it was supposed to fit? And when she's wearing the bridesmaid dress; it fits She-Hulk just fine when she transforms. So whoever tailored that dress is a better tailer than Luke who we wasted an entire episode on. Mr. Immortal should have easily been defended by his lawyers as 'till death do us part' is part of the legal binding contract to marriage; and so since he legally died each time he was married; he doesnt owe them anything. They didnt even think to bring that up. Why? Because the show feels like its written by children

How much is Disney paying you guys? Best marvel show? Man, I want to like She-Hulk. Every week I join in wanting to like it but it keeps disappointing me. It definitely is not the best show. It has good things. Tatiana Waslany is a great actress. Some comedy choices are good. I can definitely enjoy the lighter tone. But "it's a comedy" can only take me so far when suspending my disbelief considering it's part of a bigger universe. Wong admitted in front of important people that he commited a crime (got a prisoner out of jail), and he just... ran away. He's now a fugitive, right? But still next episode he's in court sueing someone... it seems they forgave the breaking out of jail thing? Because it's a comedy there's no consequences? Titania in the first episode tried to kill a number of jurors... in front of how many witnesses? No consequences. She didn't even go to jail and if she did she was out in less than a week. Now this week she happens to be dating a friend of the groom in the wedding of Jen's high school acquaintance? It sounds like lazy writing to me, comedy or not. (just like Jen's cousin being the DJ there... I mean, come on) Also she should have killed Jen with that superhuman punch to her very human face. Or severely injure her. But.... I guess it's comedy, so it's whatever. In the comics Titania and She-hulk, after YEARS of confronting each other, developed mutual respect, and in very recent comics some sort of friendly rivalry. That is cool, but in the comics it has been earned. I hope the series don't end with that kind of relationship between them because it didn't have time to develop that way and it would feel very forced. They did Mr. Immortal dirty, man. He IS a loser in the comics and a comedic character, but not a bad guy. That was just dirty. I get that they wanted a bad guy who was bad to women but they have tons, tons of bad guys in marvel that they could have used. No need to turn good guys into villains. I understand they can adapt the characters however they want, but I can not like their decision. And on the other hand, Mallory in the comics, for a while was very antagonistic to Jen. Just recently (in the comics) Mallory hired Jen and they seem to tolerate each other at work, but Mallory STILL is kind of a jerk to Jen. I don't understand why they made Mallory so nice here. She was a jerk for what, three minutes? Mallory being antagonistic could create conflict... and comedic shenanigans I guess, at Jen's work but they are missing that opportunity for some reason. And the bride had a 180 turn from a jerk to her to 100% supportive of She-Hulk for NO reason. I didn't get that change of character at all, comedy or not. Nah, I get that a lot of men are hating on She-Hulk because she's a woman but.... for now it really is not a very good show. It has flaws that could be addressed. It's an OK show at best. Definitely not better than Wandavision or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I keep having hopes it will get better in the last three episodes though.

They wanted to hate this when it was first announced. No matter the outcome of the character they would hate. They got many ppl to select do not want to see on RT for captain marvel. She-Hulk:Attorney at Law is a clever inversion of the hero's journey. The usual trope is that the hero starts low then grows to become the hero we all know and love. This She-Hulk story goes in the opposite direction. Jennifer Walters starts high, rejecting the hero she is supposed to be, and everything her mentor, Bruce, tries to teach her in episode 1. For her hubris, this series brings her down incrementally, episode by episode, until Jen's pride is all but crushed until she is reduced to Just Jen by episode 6. It's probably now that she is in a position low enough to begin her hero's journey moving forward. Her fight with Titania is a literal fight for her identity as She-Hulk, and I believe she is now ready to embrace her Hulk-ness, and her responsibility as a superhero. That, and her realisation that the threat against her are real might just get her to wear her Luke Jacobson supersuit by episode 7. The overall storytelling may not be realistic, but its subjectivity allows for a close character study of our protagonist and her supporting characters which is what I am enjoying.

@@CaleMadison True. I am working harder than a TV viewer should to find meaning in this show. But it's also a way to extend my fun with She-Hulk longer than its 20+, 30 minute run time.

@@theblackcomrade you can enjoy what you want but this is terribly below the quality of what infinity war, no way home, and civil War brought to the forefront. The CGI is awful almost every single character is one dimensional and has no real motivation besides kissing Jen’s ass. Jen is a horrific and narcissistic character who the TV show wants us to empathize with. But yea enjoy this corporate garbage that no one is watching

u know why this is the weakest show so far? I feel like most of the episodes dont have a clear ending. They just kinda go off. I think I've gotten used to some sort of cliff hanger at the end of an episode. I'm not even talking about post credit scenes.. There's no tension on this show.. I still like the show, because its waaayyy different from the "blow em' up" stuff we usually see and its kinda nostalgic to 90s work place sitcoms. I just think its lacking SOMETHING
