My ex started hanging out with a divorced friend while I was working out to town for 6 months. She decided she wanted to find herself. When I came home, she was going to move out of the bedroom, I told her to stay I would move into the other room. My mom got out first and they went over the hill and just as he was dropping her off. There was a guy knocking at her door and another leaving the back window. People don't know who Betty Broderick is. She's not even close to this weirdo here. She married her husband after they met at Notre Dame. He got her pregnant when they were both students there. Her Husband had a weak game and she lost it

That's exactly what she should have done. Put herself into this man. That's what love and loyalty is about. Companionship is about, but since she refused to do it, this is what happened. I don't feel sorry for her

I'm sorry a divorce isn't like a death at all. With most divorces there's been a decline in the relationship. I was with my husband for 21yrs, we got on like a house on fire and he was the best person I've ever known. I lost him 14 months ago, to Cancer. We had no clue he had it, literally two days from diagnosis to death. So no that gut wrenching, soul destroying, wanting to die loss, isn't the same.

Those were my exact words 6 years ago. I was also 51.. I too experienced this death just like you did...a solid kick to the stomach...in time it will pass. Do all the right things to take care of yourself. Keep busy, get healthy, go for walks and stay in touch with family and friends and make new ones. It's important to take care of business get your seperation agreement in place. Then work on the divorce. Slow and steady wins the race... you will feel better and look great and maybe in time you will learn to love again. Good luck your not alone. She cheated on me when it ended after 25 plus years.

The short version of events. Too many damn kids. She was broke AF. He offered marriage. He raised her kids. She bailed from the marriage after the last kid left the house. He had to give her half the equity of the home and now she is taking the money, moving to an apartment in another town, and trying to live her hot girl summer after menopause hit so pregnancy isn't an issue.
@Rosispergia6 ай бұрын
I actual saw an interesting podcast about menopause from a specialized doctor. She mentioned that many, many women divorce once they get into menopause because of the hormonal changes. Their husbands cannot recognize them due to low estrogen levels. For strong/steady relationships out there, there is a way how to prevent this - hormonal replacement therapy. Hormones are not to be messed with. They control everything about us - including mental wellbeing
