It is true that some people had really childhood trauma. But what most modern women call "childhood trauma" = to being told NO

My wife left after 24 years. I had just been told I had to have bypass surgery. She did not sign up for that I guess. I started working on the divorce after getting out of intensive care. I never abused her and was faithful. She also never had to work. Now she works very hard, and I work much less. She cleans houses while I am a lawyer. Three of our kids won't talk to her. I have the freedom and the money to do pretty much whatever I want. I would never go back to that insanity.

She takes her wedding vows seriously ("in sickness and in health"), whereas your wife bailed at the first hint of trouble. Sorry for your divorce. I hope you are doing well and wish for a full recovery. Stay strong, brother.

When she was diagnosed with cancer I prayed to God that he would give me her pain and he did and I'm grateful for it cuz she didn't deserve to have that pain. The last few weeks I've been fascinated (obsessed might be more accurate) with dating-related videos, something I've never done before. I am fantasizing my first date with a hypothetical corrupted feminist woman in her thirties, with bossy attitude, hate for men etc, and what I could do to extract the feminism out of her body. My fantasy involves asking her to give me her hands, and while I am squeezing them with my own hands I am asking her some deep questions that cause the foundations of the darkness inside her to shutter, effectively saving her from a miserable mental state and life. It's a silly fantasy, with zero odds of ever happening, but it's captivating and keeps my brain spinning. 🙂

We need to stop naming or giving terms to such things, it only enables them. They then think they have a disease dissociated from them, like they are "suffering, living with" vunerable narcissism. Obviously then it's not thier fault. Let tell them straight in layman terms what they are. So example, Ma'am stop looking for sympathy on social media, it's embarrassing, take accountability and do better next time. Lol I promise you they already hw e a group of women suffering from vunerable narcissism, which is caused by childhood trauma and men. And the rest if us need to acknowledge thier disease so they can heal through it.

They will isolate you from everyone that loves and cares about you, put you in the social circle where she is the only one right and she can do no wrong and will have everyone in that social circle gang the fuck up on you if you even do much as mention anything negative about her. A good funny cartoon of this is "Meat Canyon - Taylor Swift".

Ma'am, cut the crap. I'm over 60 and met my husband when I was 22...he was 32. We married 7 years later after I finished nursing school and we bought a house and settled down. Over the years I've had many, many chances to cheat, but I never have. Whenever I was propositioned by doctors, etc., I looked at them knowing what they were...dirt bags. I would just say, "I'm very married. Thanks for the compliment, though." I have never doubted my husband's love for me and know that he would protect me to his demise. I have always treated him with the respect, softness and the love he deserves. Even in our older age, he treats me like his most beloved. It isn't rocket science......a man who loves you would walk to the ends of the Earth for you. Treat him with great love, respect and kindness. Be polite to him. Encourage him and lift him up. It's amazing what they will accomplish with love and support. If he's abusive, leave; he's not a man, just a monster. If he's a good man, be his woman and take good care of him.

Personally, I'm waiting to hear how nice it was for the court system to award her all this cash, and prizes. Any mother of 3 kids that needs to get wasted is a POS and deserves nothing. I wouldn't say he dodged it. Had it removed. Then comes the lengthy healing part, and the financial burden of the medical bills to go with it. Gained an ex wife (I loved very much)18 years ago at 33-34. It effects your life path and outcome for sure. For better or worse is up to the individual. But I can say I am also very happy being single and free to be my own man, on my own time. Still have to deal with lingering issues to this day. Emotional not so much, unless I end up in the same room as her. She tried to grape me thru the court system, so a little bitterness exists. Logistical, my kids have to choose who to spend holiday time with. Which add to stress for them, And the ex is good at guilt trips. Financial, took a very long time to get out of that hole. And I often wonder where I be if Ii hadn't had to carry that burden. Still haven't been able to buy a home after having to sell during the divorce. The scar is always there, just some less noticable. Relationship with my kids could not be better. So I feel fulfilled in life.

Saw this writing on the wall most of my life. A Marine, bouncer and now retired law enforcement. Never short of volunteers on my Harley, in my Jeep or my bed. At 55, never married and cool with it, no ex's and no kids, I found and married an old school woman waaaay to young for me. Sweet, cute, tiny little thing who has staked out her territory in the kitchen and does not allow me in the kitchen, or to help with housework. Leaving me time, now that I am retired, to think of ways to spoil her, and show my appreciation, for all she does.

But also, because of her, he’s free from a marriage where he was unappreciated and unloved by his so-called wife.

You don't know what you have until it's gone. All these women make the same mistake. They are like babies that cry when they are separated from their mothers. First, the crying when the umbilical cord is cut. Then when they are left at the babysitter. First day of school. Last day of school. Wedding day. Divorce day. The boys grow out of it. The girls never do. They can't handle trauma, stress, environmental changes. It is biological as nearly all women exhibit this behavior. They just can't handle stress.
