She is Balancing Consumerism and Sustainability on Her Micro Dairy (The Trusty Plow Farm)

Courtney comes from a long line of female farmers. Her grandma first shared her love on the homestead with her sweet potato biscuit recipe. After spending some time away she has returned to her roots by building a community with her micro dairy. We all have struggles when trying to run a business and a farm but Courtney has really focused on how mass consumerism is detrimental to our society. She is working to keep her small farm productive and share the love with her community.

Kevin and Sarah from Living Traditions Homestead had talked about how their ''can do'' spirit can get them into a ''farming rat race'' no different than the corporate rat race. They stepped back from breeding pigs and recently stepped back from selling plants at the farmers market. This young woman seems to be letting God direct her.....that's a wining path.
