Thanks to your advice over the years I have learned!! I found it problematic to part/split hair with bleach on it well enough to do roots properly. I Always missed spots. Rinsed you can plainly see where touch ups are needed too. I try to get it light enough in first round on mid and ends to apply root to tip on second application. I plan for 2 bleach sessions with 2nd one (hopefully) just giving it that last little push it needs to avoid making a baby chicken head.

Black hair is fun, but use semi permanent black much easier to fade and strip out. I liked the black with their pretty blue eyes and pale skin.
@Jkjoannaki11 ай бұрын
It depends. To me semi permanent black faded quickly to mucky green and couldn't get the green out with any remover or bleach. While permanent black without applying it all the time to the rest of my hair when doing roots faded less quickly kn its own but was less stubborn to remove and get to an 8 level orange so I could put 8 ash and then with another 20 vol after a while take it to 9,5 platinum.

I agree, the brown was beautiful on her. Besides that: Actually a lot of stylists show the process of blonding in one step. Applying the bleach to the mids and ends first, keeping an eye on it and adding bleach to the roots while the rest of the bleach is still on. Most of them do have uneven results (hot roots) which they conceal with a root smudge afterwards. I've seen only a few stylists who really did a perfect job with such a "one step" process. Most of them applied more (fresh) bleach to the areas that already had bleach on them while also applying bleach (mixed with a lower volume developer) to the roots. I've done both - the two step bleach process and the one step bleach process (with applying more fresh bleach etc.) - (not being a professional) and had nice results both ways. But for anyone who has never done this or has little to no practice doing it, the two step blonding process (plus toner) is definitely a better way to go because it is hard to judge the actual color of the hair when everything is covered with bleach, even when scraping it off in certain areas. And if one attempts to do a root smudge: it is fairly hard to do so on yourself unless you really figured out a technique that you can follow yourself which will take some trial and error. Doing your own hair is way harder than doing someone else's hair. Learning how to judge what is best and when it's best, is even harder and requires lots of practise. It's not just a gimmick that some stylists are blonding experts/specialists while others specialise on long hair, color corrections, short hair etc. Any of these fields are very specific and require a lot of training. So don't expect yourself to be able to do it perfectly on the first go. Even professionals can struggle with doing their own hair. That's normal.

I WISH people would start with color remover like the Argan Oil remover, color oops, etc. THEN bleached. So much damage is removed from the scenario when color remover is used. Color oops in my opinion has been BEST or the Sally's Argan remover. I've gone from black to dark blonde solely using color oops and no bleach. Also, if you go black, try blue black, I found it minimizes the amount of warmth when it's lightened.

She may have been quoted a color correction price because of the black box dye. Also, getting her to blonde in one session would be the stylist's entire day. When a stylist does something like this, many don't double-book clients either. But, this creator did a really good job and seems like she made sure she was educated before attempting it.
