I just stumbled upon your channel and the topic you’re discussing is very interesting because different people have different views about it. But for me I say the marriage that has worked is the right marriage. Age, someone social status, all those things cannot be a guarantee thing for functioning relationship to stand. if those in it are not ready to sacrifice themselves to make the relationship work

My long distance husband to be is 16yrs older than I. We are so in love. 39 yrs old and I'm 55 yrs old. He coming over to my country, we are to get married. I felt worried at first. My firdt husband died, he was 31 yrs older than me. So in our culture of the Caribbean, we look at the male should be older than the female to take care of her.

Hi, Yes they are both aware. Thankfully, we have believing parents so it wasn't hard convincing them. but that was not the first issue we raise when they got to know us. They got to know our person first, fall in love with other areas, so it wasn't a big deal when the age issue popped up.

The issue of men marrying older women is universal and not cultural. Some people feel it is masculine for the man to be older in marriage.

Is it scriptural to work for a boss younger than someone? A master literally should be older than a servant. Sometimes we tend to complicate matters for ourselves and leave the major while focusing on the minor when it comes to marriage but don’t see it as an issue in other areas of life. The qualifications for marriage according to Ephesians is Submission from the part of the woman and Love from the part of the man.
