Title:Why Women Kill Season 2(2021)#film #shorts #allisontolman #lanaparrilla #kirbyhowellbaptiste #davidwarren #Jennifergetzinger #Evalongoria #JoannaKerns #Melanie mayron
Description:The new cast story, set in 1949, will explore what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truths behind the images people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and downplayed by society, and what one woman is willing to go to in order to find where she finally belongs.
Allison Tolman will play Alma, a timid and awkward housewife who remains optimistic in the face of a cruel world. Alma is desperate for a place in the local garden club and for her clumsy daughter to get married. But her life is turned upside down when she learns about her husband's secret hobby.
Nick Frost as Alma's beloved husband Bertram. He is a veterinarian and spends his days helping sick and injured animals out of their misery. Bertram is always kind and funny, but he has a secret hobby that is darker than his friendly nature suggests.

His death is way more sad on the show than in this clip. Alma was so cruel in his final moments and totally ignored him until the very last second. She totally ignored Bertie and was so self-absorbed and monologuing about herself while he was literally dying in front of her. Then he still said goodbye and called her beautiful for his last words even though she lied about him to their daughter!! He deserved BETTER 😫😭😭

@ShubhiAggarwal-zp1mt that's fair but he was in a grey area with his kills where all the people he killed were going to die and had a terminal illness. He killed for halfway decent reasons while Alma killed to further her own pursuits and also so she wouldn't get caught for framing Rita.

The scary part is that Alma has ALWAYS been like this, she just never had the means to do it. With her husband's secret she saw a way out and became the Villian she always was... she was never corrupted. This was WHO SHE WAS the whole time.

@@RK-su4hs That's not true. I know it sounds made up, but when I found out the man I wanted to spend my life with, had committed some horrible crimes, I could have covered it up, stayed with him and keep him forever. He would have given me anything. The people who already knew what he had done advised me not to involve the police. His wealthy mom was willing to pay for my silence. It's not as easy as you might think to disregard your conscience. I went back, sort of, only because he had threatened to unalive himself, and I didn't want to hurt all the people in his life that loved him, but it resulted in me keeping tabs on him 24/7. And his behavior made it clear that he would do it again. So I did what I had to do. For most of us, innocent people getting hurt is a deal breaker.

@@RK-su4hs that's not true at all. You have just watched too many shows that had this line or maybe too many TikToks, idk, everyone seems to have a Masters' degree in psychology there. But the thing is people aren't as bad as those things claim to be, and they won't go on murdering a bunch of people at the minor inconvenience.

Alma was sociopath and she blames other's. Rita was narcissistic but she was never the murderer or something like that. She was desperate to have everything in her life but she never put anyone life on line. She refused to put a blame on her sister in the end too until she figure out she was dead. It shows that just because someone looks simple doesn't mean they can't be monsters😢

Shows us, we can't judge a book by it's cover. At first a person may seem mean. But, when you get to know them. They're decent people. Same with someone who appears to be sweet and kind. After we get to know them better. They could be a psychopath. People let us see. What they want us to see

Not to be the Debbie Downer in the group but I am a huge fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and I got to tell you I know that this series featuring him is I think from like a year ago or so, but if he still looks the same I fear for his house cuz I think this is the heaviest I've ever seen him and I just fear that he's going to be another one of those heart attack victims where we're constantly seeing a string of heavier set actors and actresses of course most of them having the job because they were forced to for the jobs they were filming at the time I just would really hate to see something bad happened to him healthwise I really hope that he can get his weight under control so it's not affecting his lifespan and also seeing him in the past at much lower weight levels here in this series it just looks like it's uncomfortable for him to be that size. And as somebody who felt that way and was overweight for a while and having it wear and tear on my joints and my back and my breathing I can tell you somebody worrying about me saying that I was taking years off my life knowing at the time I was in my thirties feeling like I was in my 60s I was able to drop about 100 lb and I just remember the Elation of not feeling the pressure in my chest when I was just walk a few feet or go up a small flight of stairs or the feeling of being able to roll over several times in the night and not have my back feel like it was on fire in the morning. Just the overall light feeling I had not carrying that extra weight on my bones I pray and hope that anybody who's struggling whether it's weight issues causing health issues or just any health issue where there's a light at the end of the tunnel but it feels like you're never going to get there I hope you all just keep pressing on I know that if there is a way to be comfortable and feel good whether it's lifestyle or medication or some sort of a therapy do whatever you can to pursue it because everyone deserves to not just emotionally and mentally feel good about themselves but to physically feel at ease with their own body because they can breathe and walk and run and function without feeling like the weight of the world is pressing them down to the ground Again that's my totally off topic although Thomas directed to the awesome Nick Frosty did an amazing job in the series I hope my rant didn't anger anybody or insult anybody it comes from a place of concern and love because I'm not just pointing a finger or living in a glass house I'm just speaking from experience knowing that I wish somebody would have given me more understanding and encouragement so that's really all I'm trying to do and if it didn't come across that way I apologize prayers to everyone with whatever monkeys on your back or hardship you're dealing with day-to-day and definitely prayers out to the awesome Nick Frost who I hope we have for many many years to come and many many more awesome roles were hopefully one day he's recognized in the way he should for how good of an actor he is
