FOR REAL! Like in what world does April have any right to be angry at Beth Anne? She was SLEEPING with and STEALING Beth’s husband, while admitting to knowing he was married (basically she’s a home wrecker and proud of it). April was going to abort her and Rob’s baby but guess who stopped her? Beth Anne. Beth could have confronted April at that diner that day but she chose not to because she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Yet April has the nerve to show up at Beth’s house to be angry with her for being her friend? Make it make sense.

I feel like if you havent watched the show (Why Women Kill (S1)) it’s hard to understand why the mistress is upset at her too. So Im gonna try to explain why she’s upset for those of you who havent watched it and dont plan to. The wife (main character for this generation/section) is named Beth Ann, her husband, Rob, is cheating on her with a waitress who works at a local diner. The waitress/mistress is named April. When Beth Ann found out that Rob was cheating on her, she went to the diner to confront April. But April was very sweet and kind to her, so Beth Ann decided to befriend her and convince her to leave Rob instead. However, Beth Ann didnt want April to know she was Rob’s wife, so Beth Ann told April her name was Shiela (Beth Ann’s friend/neighbor) and that she was a widow. When April told Beth Ann about her relationship with Rob, “Sheila” started asking lots of questions because “her husband cheated on her before he died” and she “wanted to understand why men cheat on their wives.” Over time April and “Sheila” became very close, but Beth Ann would still try to get April to leave Rob. Later on in the show April finds out shes pregnant with Rob’s baby and decides she doesnt want to keep it. She takes Beth Ann with her and they go to this sketchy little house where they perform ab0rt!ons in the kitchen. This was all April could afford but Beth Ann convinces her to at least have the procedure somewhere safer. They run away from the sketchy place and April then decides to keep her baby and eventually tells Rob she’s pregnant. Before this, Beth Ann told Rob she had cancer and only had 6 months left to live. When April told Rob she was pregnant, he got on one knee and proposed to her. April was obviously confused because hes married, but then Rob reassured her by saying “just give me 6 months.” April had no idea his wife “had cancer” and “only had 6 months left to live” so she just thought he’d leave his wife by then. She excitedly told Beth Ann and Beth Ann was surprised by what he said. Then, Beth Ann and her neighbor decide to form a plan to kill Rob. Beth Ann’s neighbor (not Sheila btw) has an abusive, jealous husband that beats her, and their plan was that the neighbor would write a letter to her husband explaining how she was leaving him for Rob. They knew the husband would be jealous and incredibly angry over this, so they left it for him to read. This is the scene shown in the clip. Before the abusive husband gets home, April tries to go talk to Rob when the real Sheila stops her and tells her the truth about everything, which is why she gets upset. Because her whole friendship with Beth Ann was fake and used to get Rob back. When the neighbor’s husband read the letter, he grabbed his gun and stormed over to Rob and Beth Ann’s house and began to fight Rob. Beth Ann had bought a gun which she said would be loaded at all times. Beth Ann gets the gun, its not loaded and the neighbor shoots Rob dead. After this, the neighbor’s husband goes to jail and she is free. Anyways idk if I explained that well but I hope you guys understood lol😭

Great explanation but I think Beth Ann decided to kill Rob for good because her daughter Emily died because of his affair with his secretary. The secretary left the gate opened while escaping after Beth Ann came back while her husband was doing the deed with the secretary. And Rob blamed Beth Ann for their daughter's death for years. So after the secretary told Beth Ann the truth, that's where she is planning to kill Rob.

I rewatched this and just listening to the way Rob talks down to women and how he views them, I genuinely believe Rob sees Beth-Ann as responsible for Emily's death. In his twisted mind if Beth-Ann hadn't come home so early and he was allowed to screw his secretary in peace, they wouldn't have scrambled to cover their tracks and the secretary wouldn't have foolishly left the gate open. He probably even saw Emily's death as a plus because he probably viewed having a daughter annoying. God help us if Rob had a boy.

@hollybrooke38504 ай бұрын
@jasminedavis3030 yup yup that is pretty much exactly how a narcissistic mind works. You hit the nail on the head with your comment very well. I imagine you have unfortunately dealt with the gaslighting and devaluation of a narcissist. This show was chilling for me, and probably many others in just how accurately it portrayed the depravity of being stuck in this. Even to the level that everything he does is literally laid out Infront of the audience but some don't see how deep and intentional and purile the level of control, status, power, and manipulation is. Just how there is zero actual capability for normal emotions just portray what they want to be seen as. Most importantly on how many levels and how deeply is destroys the very fibre of every part of the victims real self and being yet evily forces them to cling desperately for hope until either snapping or breaking free.

April is an interesting character. She grew up in a house watching her mother be abused and not being able to leave that relationship. You can see her current lifestyle is in slight rebellion to that. But can see why she latched on to Rob because of that past despite knowing he was married (and likely the seasoned cheater spun some story of an unhappy marriage). But "sheila" was an important true friend, who supported her. April didn't come to confront the cheating husband or the wife. She came to confront her friend for the deceit thinking what was between them wasn't real.

Heads up, they show 3 owners and different time periods of the same house. This one, set in the early 60s, one set in the 80s, and one in present day. This one is the best, the 80s one is good, but the present day one sucks. A married couple invite the wife’s girlfriend to live with them🤢

As Rob is laying there dying after he was shot, Beth Anne says to him... "I KNOW HOW EMILY D!ED". (Their deceased young daughter that he had very deliberately LIED TO HER FOR YEARS in order to purposely make her think that it was always HER FAULT that their child had d!ed instead of ever admitting the truth to her and telling her that it had directly been caused by •HIM• having yet another one his constant affairs throughout their entire marriage). Letting Rob know that she now finally knows that it was all entirely ●HIS FAULT● that their young child had d!ed the way that she did.... not •HER'S• as Rob had very purposely constantly gaslit, guilt tripped and manipulated her to believe for yearsss at this point... solely just so that BethAnne would remain married to him as his guilt-ridden own personal maid & slave as she was desperately trying to "make it all up to him" for causing their daughter's death as Rob had deliberately always led her believe by him constantly reminding her of it as being HER FAULT that Emily was hit and k!lled by a passing car only because •SHE• had recklessly left their back yard gate unlocked after BethAnne had brought the trash cans back inside earlier that day so that their child finally got out into the street and got k!lled.... every single time that BethAnne ever tried to question him about anything that she disagreed with that HE decided for them or if she ever tried to bring up the subject of •HER• unhappiness in the marriage to talk to him about it after their daughter's death. Rob had very deliberately been using their child's death all along in order to better manipulate her and always maintain full total control over BethAnne for yearssss.. just because it always benefitted •HIM• the most in both his personal life to be able to live like a King with BethAnne always slaving away for him to well tend to his every single need/want/desire & whim every day of his life AND in his business life due to all of the "sympathy" promotions and business deals he regularly got that remaining married to BethAnne after their child's death always ended up getting for him... for Rob to continue to do so ●ONLY USING● BethAnne for his own personal gain.🤮🤮🤮 With THESE Specific Words- BethAnne was now letting Rob know as he was dying that ●SHE● now finally knew the entire full truth of the matter regarding that their young daughter's death was, and always had been, the direct result caused by yet another one of •HIS• nonstop serial multiple affairs over the course of their entire marriage (with his secretary at the time. Whom he had even dared to have in THEIR home and in THEIR marital bed while his wife & child were away from home that day at the time that their daughter had d!ed during THIS one of his constant affairs).... and that BethAnne now knew that it was his secretary who had actually left their back gate unlocked that day as she was sneaking out when BethAnne came home much earlier than they both expected her to that day that their daughter later got out of the back yard and ended up getting hit by a passing car as Emily was chasing after the new red ball that BethAnne had just purchased for her right before they came back home that day. AND that she now knew that Rob had very deliberately been ●LYING TO HER AND MANIPULATING HER● for the whole entire time about it for all of these passing yearssss now since then... because she had finally found out that Rob that had always KNOWN ABOUT the full truth about it from his secretary immediately calling him later that day their daughter had already been k!lled to directly tell Rob that •SHE• had left their gate unlocked but Rob never bothered to go lock it back again before Emily managed to get out of their yard and d!ed.... as well as Rob had very specifically then told his secretary to never tell his wife (BethAnne) about ANY OF THIS just that he •could• then use it to manipulate, guilt-trip and fully control BethAnne from that day onward by fully blaming their daughter's tragic death solely on BETH-ANNE. While what she said to Rob as he was dying was also letting Rob know that she now knew that HE HAD KNOWN THE TRUTH ABOUT ALL OF IT FOR ALL THIS TIME (yearssss after by this point in time).... and yet Rob had still decided to very purposely LIE TO HER all along by intentionally blaming •HER• for causing their daughter's death in order to deliberately gaslight, manipulate and guilt trip BethAnne solely just so that •HE• could then gain total full control over BethAnne so that he could continue using her as his own personal maid/slave/business wife that regularly got him "sympathy" promotions.... all while at the very same time Rob could continue being a serial cheater having numerous nonstop affairs with multiple different women behind BethAnne's back throughout their entire marriage so that Rob could always be able to have his cake and then be able to eat it, too. By him constantly using alllll of these other women for his own ego-boosting sex-capades while he was still having BethAnne around as his "wife" in order for HER to always well tend to his every want, need, desire & whim within their mundane routine household stuff just exactly the way that Rob liked for everything to be done for him at home... every moment when he had to be home from work instead of him out sneaking around with yet another one of his nonstop rotation of mistresses. Because BethAnne was useful to him ●ONLY● as a handy resource tool that got him steady business deals and faster promotions at work through mostly sympathy for their dead child. As well as her taking care of Rob VERY well as his own personal maid & slave due to her desperate guilty conscience that •HE• very purposely manipulated her in to believing when Rob saw that he could use & manipulate their daughter's tragic death to HIS OWN best benefit and gain for himself.... and he never wanted all of that to end. Soooo- By BethAnne whispering these specific words to him as he now lay dying, she was finally letting Rob know that not only did •SHE NOW KNOW• tje full truth and circumstances about exactly how AND why their child had d!ed that day was always directly caused by •HIS• nonstop cheating/affairs..... but that she had now also very purposely manipulated and used •HIM• for a change... just as he had very purposely been doing to her for yearssss now at this point.... by her very intentionally now planning and setting up •HIS D€ATH• in order so that Beth Anne could now get some sort of justice for herself AND for her poor daughter because of all of Rob's constant, nonstop and very deliberately done lies, his guilt-trips and his manipulations. Her being able to use the stupid and DV abusive neighbor hubby as the one pulling the trigger for her in order to take out these two very abusive , selfish, self-centered, manipulative and highly narcissistic total POS monsters in one fell swoop??... was just the cherry on top of it all that resulted in freeing herself, April and her child AND the long-suffering abused neighbor lady friend of BethAnne so that they could ●ALL● then be able to move on to much better and much improved lives afterwards. 🤷♂️😅😅😅

I can't wait for the day when women are gonna hold man accountable for cheating 😂😂😂, looks like everyone has a huge problem with the side chick even though the husband is the one who took vows and made a commitment to the marriage. I don't hate the side chick. I hate the man because if he kept it in his pans, LITERALLY none of this would happen, she would still have her child. 😅
