Travel nursing isn’t as glamorous as it’s made -up to be 💯💯!!! You gotta pay huge taxes @ the end of the year that they didn’t take out from your weekly pay checks ; gotta be Proactive & financially responsible when you do these kinds of Jobs . Most don’t offer benefits or sick Pay !!! Though this Young lady seems pretty smart & invests her salary . Invest & save -up ; don’t spend it all

Tax write offs, and hire a CPA to do your taxes quarterly. Lol it's not hard, you actually end up paying less taxes than a W2 employee since you can write off so much stuff as you are a business instead of an employee

@clintinb5219 Жыл бұрын
Yeah bro you can even make way more. 2500 is like locally meaning either the state you live in or nearby states so you can drive there and come back home. But if you go to states farther out from you you can make 5000 to 7000 per week depending on the type of nursing setting like ICU or medsurge.

It’s also a good way not to experience burnout. Workplace violence of ALL TYPES and high turnover rates are highest in healthcare settings in the U.S. compared to any other job industry. You get to mainly take care of your patients then go home instead of staying in toxic working environments lifelong.

What people don't get about having a business is that you pay taxes last, the business gets to spend money"business expenses" which can be your home mortgage and your dinner and your car etc.. and the government taxes you for what you have remain in the business account (profits) , let s say your business makes 150K and your yearly expense are 60k you still have 90k in the business account which will taxed , unless you decided to use it as a down payment for a house or land and then ur business bank account balance will be zero then the government doesn't owe you anything

It doesn’t matter if you are an ADN or BSN (though most prefer bsn), you need your RN license with at least one year experience to travel.

Still can get paid more as a travel nurse than a staff nurse, but not nearly as much currently as you could make during the pandemic. Hospitals need to catch a clue and offer better pay for their staff nurses so they can retain staff easier (also need to guarantee safer staff to patient ratios, better benefits, better management support, but better pay for states where the cost of living has skyrocketed, would help, but hospitals and other health care systems has refused to do this so there are still shortages of nurses willing to work under these unsafe and underpaying conditions.

Then, they be mad if you get to take 6 months or so off like several other travel nurses do like her. Some actually saved, invested, and swapped to things they were more passionate about because healthcare is horrible. If you not paying for nothing, why you got a problem with it?
