I love how you can tell the author did research on how Old Hollywood was for women. A lot of women who were "white" were often biracial or hispanic and dressed up to be the "blonde bombshell" like Marilyn Monroe or the "dark haired femme fatale." Like so many other women. I'm honestly so happy about the research showing when it comes to Evelyn's character
