Sleep in Peace Chad. This is especially hard because I had the privilege of meeting this young man. He loved the fact that I did not know who he was. He was so interested in what I did for a living because he saw me with 3 cell phones and focused on my laptop. He was a gentleman. Yes, I invited him over because we were both living in LA and from South Carolina. Not to mention my (12 year old) daughter was interested in directing. I showed him pictures of my daughter’s art work . This one is hard for me right now to wrap my head around because I work in Cancer Research. Cancer is NOT a joke and there is a society of us who don’t watch TV and therefore we live in a bubble. I am sad. I deal with cancer patients expiring everyday but this one hits different. Thank you Chad for allowing me to share an experience that I will be able to share forever. You were truly a nice, respectful and humble soul. #RIP #IKeptMyPromiseAndSawBlackPantherFinally 🙏🏽

Death truly is the great equalizer and I understand too as a Nurse Practitioner the fragility of life. I have held the hand of CEO's and homeless, and even my own parents as they crossed over to the other side of glory. I just watched on Harvey show the way you met that gentleman. I also never watched the Black Panther. but I do know him and always remember him for the AMAZING speeches he gave at AFI life achievement award for Denisel Washington also at Hayward university. After I watched his speech on TV I gave him a stand novation from my living room. he was well spoken and classy GENTLEMAN!! prince jacob macauley - the actual story is what was funny. I was at the show because my friend who has Cancer loves Steve Harvey. My body language was off because the producer gave me a script before going on and it was not what actually happened. In that moment, I battled with pleasing production and telling the story as it happened. I was so upset at the spin and the way the show was edited. As a result, I had someone to reach out to his publicist to clear the air. I will tell the story in a year or so. He laughed so hard when I told him that I thought he was a Basketball player. For now, we need to be respectful to his family and love ones. I’m still trying to process all of this. He was truly a gentleman. 🦋
