I had the pleasure of spending an entire evening with Chadwick and Simone for a friends birthday. Chadwick was observant and quiet. He preferred to sit quietly to himself. Simone was vibrant, and captivating. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her. She was so kind and breathtakingly beautiful inside and out. What a privilege to have shared a moment in time with them. To witness their love was a gift. Simone, continuing to lift you up sis. 🤍

I dont know why I mourn Chadwick’s death. I only saw him in movies, adored him as Black Panther. And when the news about his passing broke, I bawled my eyes out. 2 months later, my uncle and granny died. The pain of losing relatives almost felt the same as losing Chadwick. I think it’s because My heart just feels he was a great person and it was a huge loss for us that he left us early. Up to this day, I cry because he’s gone. I can only cope up a little by watching his films. We missed you dearly, Chadwick.

I completely understand that. I felt that for the first time when Paul Walker died, I was grieving a person I'd never met and then Chadwick and the same thing happened! I can barely watch these interviews without tearing up and when I saw Wakanda Forever and that tribute at the end of the movie, oh man it took everything in me to hold it together, while my husband was balling his eyes out! These people, especially someone like Chadwick who fought so bravely and suffered in silence while being the world's most talked about superhero was not just an amazing actor but a wonderful human being and that affects us. He touched our lives with his kindness and his legendary performances. Obviously we're gonna grieve and there's nothing wrong with that.

Big fan of Chadick, and Marvel, his death hit me so hard...I buried my father literally couple months before Chadwick died, also of cancer.. my father fought for 4 years, of brutal suffering, taking care of him, watching him deteriorate, watching become a vegetable, not be able to walk, talk, not being to remember me, suffer incredibly, and die... way too young. I know what she went through, and is still going through, but hers is worse cause it was her love. I pray for this poor woman, and anyone out there who is suffering loss, know you're not alone. Rip Chadwick, and those loved ones who died to this terrible disease.

I remember when Chadwick passed I was so shocked to the point I had a conversation with my dad about it because he was one of those actors that I admired. He played so many iconic black people that have literally changed history it was beyond fitting for him to receive the role of black Panther. I ended up losing my dad this year to lung cancer to it has been extra rough year and I really relate to his wife because just like my father people admire them but to us they are family and loved ones irreplaceable.

First found out about Chad long before Black Panther. He was a reoccurring character on an ABC Family show called Lincoln Heights with Russell Hornsby. His portrayal of a veteran dealing with PTSD and life after coming home was stellar

I remember having to explain to my 9 year old grandson Josiah that Mr. Chadwick Boseman ( Black Panther ) passed away, it was really difficult. I looked in his eyes and saw confusion and hurt I gave him a big hug then he said granny he is sleeping (Tears). We are a retired military family, 3 of my grandchildren came to live with us while my daughter there mom gets on her feet, 2 of my grandchildren have had some delays but have been able to over come with patients, consistency, structure, routine and lost of love. I've placed all the super heroes comics on my grandson Josiah wall but he lit up when it came to The Black Panther, Josiah said it makes him fell so strong because someone looked like him. Couple months ago Josiah asked could he grow up to be big with muscles and run fast, I said sure but when you think about it you already are because the Black Panther is inside of you, what a big smile he had on his face, I told him to continue to do what's right always then explained what integrity means. We teach the grandchildren no matter your start in life is continue to reach for the stars and the importance of an education because no one can take it from you but you, so continue to go to school on purpose. Last month my husband purchased tickets for us to see the new Black Panther movie and Josiah is so excited just walking around with the biggest smile on his face.is so excited his smile is out of this world

I lost my mom to colon cancer she was just 52. It's a terrible disease. But my mom and Chadwick both got to do good things in their life before they passed. That's what I take with me and I know his wife feels the same. His shoes are hard to walk in and no one can take his place because he did so good. It's a pain that never heals but you learn to live with it and think about the good times you did have and enjoy.

All those people making negative comments about her and acting like they know her or how their relationship was have absolutely no class at all. You're not brave talking trash about people behind your little KZbin account. How about you learn to be happy with yourself instead of dragging others down to make yourself feel better? Let's be better than that.

I saw the tribute they made for him in black panther 2 and the whole cinema was silent. It shows that even if you didn't know him personally he was still a very respected man and its strange because knowing what he went through its almost like a community of grief because you feel the impact. The influence he had sharing hope and kids seeing him and wanting to be like him regardless of background and that is forever the energy is there the hope is and even when he was ill he was visiting children's hospitals and in a way he made the images and was every bit of the black panther. Thanks to him wakanda is forever.

My Goodness. You can feel the love that Simone and Chadwick shared through the screen. Chadwick pour every single last ounce of himself in every single role that he played. It didn't matter how big or small the role may have been. And Whoopi was right when she said that Chadwick was this bright light, however I believe his light still shines. It's in every single life that he touched with is work as an actor, and as a wonderful human being. Chadwick touch my life in a way I had never thought about until I saw Black Panther in the theater with my grandmother. I watched that movie looking through several different lenses. I watched as a student of film and future filmmaker. I watched as a proud women of color. And I watched as the mother of a young son can now see himself through Black Panther/T'challa. I can't wait to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever next week with my son who is 12, and my brother and grandmother. I thank you Chadwick for sharing you gift with the world. Thank you for being a positive role model for young black kids like my son. Thank you for leading the way in black excellence.
