i am super confuse whit this audit , nothing was , clear , she want to push her agenda , and say she do validation but she don't have a simple listing. I have validation a lot of people like tesla cars , that meant is best electric car , not really true in all cases!!

Loving the shop audits and highly recommend the Backstage Pass (Press join above!). My two comments though. The unrealistic income goals. Its important that people keep things realistic. They should know thats not going to happen. Secondly, I'd like to see more stores that are past the niching stage.. Stores should be past that basic before asking for help.. A few are good, but for the sake of everyone elses benefit it would be better to see a more diverse range of advice and advanced stores. Keep up the great content Scott & Chris!

Hooley dooley, this was one heckuva vid. I'd love to see what this chic's shop looks like now, coz I'm pretty sure she had no clue what you guys were trying to say, even by the end of the video. I feel like she followed the longtail keywords to the top and landed on "room aesthetic", and decided that she'll do every possible style so she could put "room aesthetic" on the end of it. Except "room aesthetic" doesn't mean anything, so what word means ALL the styles? ECCLECTIC! What she SHOULD have done is that if she saw that "Dark cottagecore room aesthetic" was a good keyword, then she should have been searching for other keywords that contained "dark cottagecore" (or words that can potentially mean the same thing, like goblincore, witchcore, witchy, whimsigoth, erc). Oh my goodness, this made my head hurt

If I were this gal I would definitely be checking into whether she has the proper licensing to sell anything William Morris. Well he is deceased, and a lot of his items are now no longer copyright protected. There are some things that are still licensed and need the proper licensing to be able to reproduce and sell them.

William Morris is Arts and Crafts style and maybe some Art Nouveau. William Morris designs sell extremely well. There are people looking for William Morris designs. In addition there other Arts and Crafts artists to sell. Many items also fit within Arts and Crafts style. Art Nouveau could possibly be included. Focus on Arts and Crafts take William Morris designs and clean them up or alter them. The possibilities are large.

Timelessly eclectic is not a style, you cannot search for that, because timeless to ME is native patterns, rustic colors and cottage core. She is passionate about design, not the finished product. Those are just let's sell what is trending. Who are you selling too. What is your ideal customer, not their aesthetic.

It is specifically a Saturday market in specifically the Northwest vibe. I lived in Northwest and its very different from the rest of the world and hard to explain. She should try to market to only Northwest. They don't like to sound commercial or fake with words that sound "marketable". They overly pride themselves on authentic things, ideas or people that have cult following. You see how its hard to explain. You have to live there for a few years to get it.

Yup, it all looks very "same-y", and that's not a good way to build brand loyalty, coz there are 500 other shops making art that looks the same, with maybe a leaf positioned a bit differently. 🙄
