Adam ( the beatboxer) went crazy in this one. That's his voice on those highest notes also. As for Tim ( the bass) ...I'm pretty sure he's a dragon . Thanks for the Home Free reactions. I don't really like country much but I love Home Free!

They all take turns taking the lead, depending on the song and whose voice fits better.

One of my all-rime favorite songs re-done by me favorite acapella group.....the doobie brothers I'm sure would approve

Home Free doesn't really have a front man. They select the lead(s) based on whose voice best suits the song of the moment and all are full participants in that process.

Home Free sings all genres of music not just country but they’re so good. No instruments in this and the beatboxer was crazy good. The bass is amazing too. Good one!!!😄

You two disect a song so well. Love your reactions, and Home Free, been catching all their songs for several years. Butts Medly, and Unchained Melody are two of my favorites, I swear by! Peace from Northern Michigan.

A little heads up…the Butts Medley is about actual butts, it’s not someone’s name or whatever else I thought it was before I actually clicked on it. Think of it as a celebration of curves if you will, but consider yourself warned. Just wanted you to be aware of what to expect.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds. Adam is doing the high notes as you can see in the slowed down section.

The original was by the Doobie Brothers (with a full band including 2 drummers). The singing & harmonies are always terrific & Adam's beatboxing is incomparable. Three of them are song writers so there are lots of originals as well as covers (including among others, Chance's original "Skull and Bones", Austin's "Love Me Like That", Tim's "Remember This"). Fall down the rabbit hole - it's a great trip!

I loved your "Your loss" comment. It really _is_ something people say from a self-centered point of view. How is it "my loss" to not like what you like unless there is some special necessity? "I hate fruit and refuse to eat it." "Well, that's your loss because they contain vitamins you need to keep you healthy."

I suggest their cover of Elvira that they did with the Oakridge Boys (it's not quite rock, but it's a classic & close enough I think). They also did Seven Bridges Road by the Eagles, Born in the USA and Life is a Highway, which the original was a rock song. A couple of those are pretty old videos, but still great. It's hard for them to do rock songs without a guitar so I don't think there are many. But they can do pretty much any genre. Thanks for the HF reaction.

Just scrolled through the comments and I see several suggestions for "older" rock songs. I didn't see one suggested that I think you would enjoy and that's Home Frees cover of Working for a living by Huey Lewis and the News. It not only pays homage to the original but it also shows off the guys goofy sides. Enjoy!
