Almost like watching my wife and I as younger versions.. My wife has an 07 883L that she likes and we go on trips with and have no issues, I upgraded the seat with an added backrest which she hated until her first longer trip and now loves, upgraded the grips, gave her a Cruisemate to be able to rest her throttle hand, hers has bags already, added a windshield with initial same reaction as backrest until she got off after a couple hundred miles and felt way better. I added highway pegs too but she just can't reach em quite right so those need replacement to some swept back ones. All in all a 883 will do the job and the small 3.3 tank size although a bit of a hassle gets her to 120 miles or so and forces us to stop and smell the roses, stretch, etc. I always say the most dangerous place to ride is behind my wife, not due to anything she is doing wrong but for some odd reason blonde braids flying in the wind creates alot of distracted drivers weaving over toward me as they rubber neck her passing by!! 🤣
