Take the time to take the nut off the stand so the new spring doesn’t get slightly tweaked. At that point you can inspect jiffy stand and tab (square hole square tab)for wear and tear you know when the bike rolls 4 inches and everybody freaks out because they think the kick stands going up. Also, the rubber shown is the wrong rubber that’s for an older bike. you want the round one. because the rubber was missing the tab was banging off the primary / fram and is bent so throw crescent wrench on there and carefully bend it back to where it’s supposed to be don’t overdo it or you’ll break it and you’ll end up buying a new kickstand Respectfully Armen

What if you wait overnight and the push rod is still tight? I soaked in oil and pumped up new S&S lifters before installing with new SS lifter blocks and it still won’t turn. 24 flats after the push rod was gently extended Any ideas?
@GilstrapGarage4 күн бұрын
Id say back it off, confirm 100% you’re in the compression stroke for that cylinder, and give it another shot. If it’s still that tight you’ve definitely got a valve open.

This helped me a lot, many thanks. I ran into an issue where my lifters would not bleed down. Telried multiple times and double checked timing(cam swap) Finally ran to HD and bought new lifters. Procedure worked fine currently waiting on last the lifter to bleed.

Helped my buddy pull a seventy Monte Carlo outta a farm shed a few days ago. He's got the Ls fitted in place of the big block already and will be doing the body and interior as a winter project. It should actually look real similar to the one you saw at the show by next spring.

The TC bros are great, but I’d probably lean towards Drag Specialties. They’re a little cheaper and identical to OEM

Seeing your vids make me want to ride in the U.S. Here in Europe/Netherlands the roads are so damn full, we have no space here. Anyway the best from the Netherlands 👊

It depends on where you ride! I’ll be posting riding videos soon from Southern California, every road is like a parking lot. But we moved to the middle of the country to escape that lifestyle.

I live in Bellevue and immediately knew where you were. My ‘14 Ultra Limited is stripped for the winter (all the painted body pieces are in the basement for winter waxing) but I’d like to have rocker lockers (& breathers/gaskets) installed in the spring. What are your rates and schedules?
@GilstrapGarage14 күн бұрын
I’d be happy to take care of that for you. Shoot me an email [email protected] We can talk prices and I can get you my number so we can get it done!

There is actually a brake light wire right on the turn signal connector coming from the bike .. the turn signal wire should have 3 wires but the spot where you plug it in already has a 4th wire coming into the 4Pin connector (should be blue with red stripe) and that’s brake light only

I'm from Omaha also and it took me a bit to figure out where you were. The road from Glenwood to Council Bluffs is a nice windy road. For a couple of months I made a ride to Murray Hill by Little Sioux. Nice view your subscribers might like it. I make the same rides Beebe town, Missouri Valley, Easton Trail Woodbine, maybe I should go south more. All rides are great when you get out on a nice fall day.

dumb question, it doesn't matter what "timing" or orientation the clutch plates go in? I'm about to redo my clutch as it blew the studs off the hub and replacing everything with oem stuff. btw, do you happen to know the size of the nut on the clutch hub, and the torque on that too by any chance? thanks man. subbing

Sometimes the tabs on the discs have a little notch in them. I usually line those up with each other when I install them. This was an m8 so I don’t have the specs memorized like I do on a twin cam, but if they’re the same size it’s 1-3/16 (30mm) and about 75lb-ft
@WDStock_man16 күн бұрын
No if the nut falls down in the hole get your pick with the curve in it. Not the L shape pick but the one in the snake shape. Fishes out easy.

I bought a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide TC88 in 2023 in the US at auction with 3826 miles. I checked the mileage when buying history, it is true and shows 3 owners. My question is, with this mileage and year, should I be concerned about the tensioner or oil seal wearing out or losing its properties?

My wife as a Sportster 72, those clips always fail. I put chrome covers on both sides and hold them in place with chrome zip ties. They are easily snipped off and replaced.

Good morning 🌅, Guys great video as always, Road Rage, about 17 Bikes riding across Europe, we were doing 70s Mph , a BMW AND MERCEDES sport cars were having a race, cutting in and out of traffic on a motorway , they tried to stop us and push us into the barriers, they had to stop at a toll booth and still tried to push us away, 😮😂😮😂 I don’t know how it happened but wing mirrors were left on the road, Headlights and rear lights were missing as well, I bet they will never push bikes around again, 😂, even a lorry driver wanted to get involved as well, he passed comment saying that he had to slam his brakes on because one of them came through on the inside of the hard shoulder and cut across in front of him, it might have been better for us to call the police, but they got their comeuppance, it probably cost them a few thousand quid euros to get the things fixed, ride safe ride free
