Wow, this just brought back an old memory! On a talk show probably in the '80s, there was a woman on there that had this talent. People in the audience were testing her and she was able to talk along with everyone. She wasn't lip syncing as I recall though, she was actually speaking at the same time as them. Freaky!

Since its the opening act, they rehearse that. All she had to do was to make sure that she got the timing right. Also, this show is not 100% organic. I’m pretty sure that she already knew some of the things that were gonna happen with the judges. They do this type of things for TV shows to keep things more entertaining. I mean, most are very impressive, but there's others that are just fake. One time there was this magic trick with cards, and the way they showed it on camera for the audience made it super obvious to all of us that it was fake, but the judges were acting all mind-blown because they have to make it look good on TV.

I didn't realize other people could do this! I discovered I could do this once when I went to a friend of mine's concert to support her, never heard a word of her songs before, and I was able to mouth her lyrics in time with her so well that she actually gave me a shout out in the middle of her song for knowing the words, which I didn't. I find that if I relax my eyes but focus them completely on a person's face, I can mimic their words and facial expressions perfectly. I have no idea if this is a natural skill or something my brain was suddenly able to do after all my years in theatre study, but it's a pretty surreal experience. It nice to know I'm not the only one. For the longest time, I passed it off as some freakish feature I had lol

Reminds me of a certain story I read when I was a kid. It’s titled FAIREST. The girl would they called it ‘illusing’ where she’d help the queen to sing because it was a singing kingdom and the queen was expected to have a beautiful voice but couldn’t sing to save her life. Wow I love this ❤😂
