It's called the anointing. She's anointed. (Touched by the Holy Spirit) That's that intangible thing that touches everyone so emotionally. That's why people who don't know about the anointing have such a difficult time not only understanding but in trying to explain why Sohyang touches them so deeply. I've seen so many reviewers cry & they absolutely cannot tell you why. I love it!

Tom, unlike many addictions, an addiction to Sohyang has to be a healthy one. She is just a great lady in every way, maybe she IS an Angel. I knew that this song was going to be very special to her spiritually - therefore her emotional rendition. I discovered her about the same time I discovered KZbin music reactions and have been bedazzled ever since. Nice reaction video. Thanks.

Sohyang is a Christian and begun as a gospelsinger in the church and a cancer survivor! She sang "Everyone"in Korean, that's a pure a gospel song when you read the sub. OMG!! LOL !!

Tom, thanks for your reaction to this jewel. "Amazing Grace" is a 250 year old song, so I suppose people can do almost anything they want with it! Copyright didn't even exist when it was written, ha, ha! I don't even feel comfortable calling So Hyang a professional anymore. It almost sullies the level she operates at in the musical world. She seems more like a genius than anything else, and the standard other singers who sing for the art and to praise God must strive to attain. When you are arguably the best in the world, but would _never_ say that about yourself, then you are talking about someone who has achieved a truly remarkable measure of character. That is almost 100% absent in our music world, so filled with ego-maniacs. Thanks again for your reaction and we are all waiting for more of her from you! 💖

Her rendition of 'Oh Holy Night' is unparalleled. Her version of "Misty' is incredible. She did a rap song with other musicians in a BeginAgain concert called 'Day Day' (in Korean). There are many more of hers to react to! She is the best.

This is the best female vocalist, performer, person, I have ever heard, seen, in my lifetime, and I am old 😄. MY favorite of all time. She sings to your soul. I noticed you haven't reacted to " Everyone ", which I would watch on Vimeo for the English subtitles, or " Arirang Alone ". Both from Immortal Songs I believe. you might want to check out her cover of oh holy night since it's the season for it :o the original video is like 8 minutes so you need to only react to the song part. it has clips of the tv show which might be problematic with copyrights. I do have to warn when you react to broadcast clips(mbc, kbs, sbs, mnet in one of the corners), those videos might be more copyright prone. I see a lot of people react to it so doesn't seem like a problem but just something you need to keep in mind.
