Every person on these passing vessels was having a well deserved blast. That vessel hard 2 get was the king of day IMHO + the lady in the orange 🍊 bikini 👙 stole the show. The frog cam & the BOATSNAPS Reactions really captures the mood of the day. My congratulations goes out to our US 🇺🇸 Coast Guard for their gallant efforts with drug introdiction. That mystery boat I believe a similar model is made by numerous companies. I had a ride in on a TN lake, it had built big block proped to not exceed 7,500 rpm. There was a “T-handle” on the floor attached to a full width trim tab that was at least 6” deep and that boat would stop from speed in about 4 boat lengths and the bow would be under to the wind screen. It was an awesome ride. Btw, no neutral or reverse, direct drive, the starter motor moved it close to 20 feet before it fired. It had to be pointed toward open water.

@@BOATSNAPS Advantage Boats, simply a jet boat. Impeller driven. he turned it off for quiet. They have forward, neutral and reverse, but reverse is mostly useless.

You describe a v-drive boat where this is a jet drive. This boat is a Sanger SuperJet model as they called them. The Berkeley jet drive on this boat does have a reverse position that works fairly well. The neutral position is a bit tricky and requires constant small adjustments to remain relatively stationary. Owned a couple, sold new ones for a dealer, worked on many.

@@daverotroff6873 from the brief view I had when I wrote that I missed that it was a jet boat. My only experience with a boat of that type, was a V-drive. They do look similar however that boat I was on was a beast with a big block, proped to turn 7,500 rpm was awesome. That lake must of a dozen or more of similar looking boats but must had dressed up stock small blocks. They didn’t want anything to do with that big block boat, I’d guess at least 200 or more hp difference.
