Just binged your Sleep Token reactions yesterday and enjoyed them! Spiritbox is also great...if you're looking for more of them might I recommend Holy Roller or if it isn't too long, their Mara Effect Parts 1-3 at Silverside Sound (~16 mins) is a great all-around intro to them! If you're looking for something more traditional hard rock, would love to see you react/go down the rabbit hole for The Warning - a trio of sisters barely into their 20's from Mexico. Huge sound; their live stuff is amazing...would recommend either of their MTV Music Awards performances to dip your toe in!

I loved seeing Spiritbox in Cleveland, and Jinjer (opening for Disturbed) in Cincinnati. I only hope I can get the opportunity to see Igorrr. Check out Igorrr - tout petit moineau. Don't bother looking for lyrics, but the vocalizations are incredible.

We've had female screamers for over 20 years now which is nuts. Angela Gosslow was definitely the big first name, but so many bands such as spiritbox hold the torch.

I think Jaded is a perfect introduction to Spiritbox because it's the combination of every flavor of the band (much like Sleep Token, you can't pin them down to a genre) but in a sneaky way that makes it seems more "commercial." If you go down the rabbit hole you will find (again, much like Sleep Token) that they aren't concerned with sounding like the previous song you just heard from them. They will write within progressive, pop, industrial, bluesy, death metal and whatever else is available.

Courtney is the queen of scream! I'd like to recommend 'Blessed Be' next by Spiritbox. They have so many bangers! If you want to hear how brutal and groovy they can be check out 'Holy Roller'. If you want to pull emotions and tears watch 'Constance' . My personal favorite would have to be 'Belcarra' which is next level heavy. Whichever song you choose to do next you can't go wrong. Oh yeah, almost forgot. You have to do Courtney's one take performance of 'Circle with me'. Dang! Can't believe I almost left that one out. She leaves no doubt about her vocal abilities in that one.

AHHH! Spiritbox! The only downside to watching this a few hours after you published it, is that now I have to wait that much longer for you to listen to more Spiritbox! 😩 This band is basically immaculate. They're SO GOOD. You'll adore like, every song from them because they're proper creative, passionate, talented, and only getting better in each of those. As a longtime fan of them, I hereby certify and support any recommendation from them you see in the comments, and highly encourage you to visit more of them. More more more and also more. Courtney is a gem of a personality and she has a fantastic voice that's apparently only getting better. Mike Stringer (guitarist) is the main composer for the band, and he plays a CHONKY spooky guitar. Their drummer Zev Rose is a beast, and their bass guitarist Josh Gilbert is already a lil legend in the genre from his bass+vocal work in his old band. Vango. Now is a fine time for you to become -obsessed over- a stable and healthy fan of Spiritbox.
