I remember Jamey Jasta mentioned on his podcast that Hatebreed lost an opening spot for Megadeth. The band was Tesseract. Dave Mustaine is a fan, so he picked them over Hatebreed. Jamey was hurt, but mentioned that Hatebreed eventually opened for Megadeth. Funny story.

About that Megan the stallion song. One of my students (I teach guitar) asked to learn it awhile back, a young girl who I think was getting into guitar because of that song. The original version JUST came out, so I ear'd it out, solo and all. And the whole time I was thinking "I should do a legit metal cover of this." Then, shortly after, I find out Spiritbox did an official version with the label. Pretty cool experience, also I never did the cover because I couldn't really compete with them haha
